It's lower wattage so takes a little longer to cook things than a bigger microwave. Where it could be better is in the preset options. It doesn't say what the preset numbers represent, it only has a number and a time. You have to look in the manual to see what each number means.

Buttons are different like turning knob says like A1-2, etc. I just now press start a few times because it’s 30 seconds. Definitely recommend. Very happy with my purchase:)

Retro Style Insignia Microwave Oven

It's much quieter than my old Kenmore microwave. I love the different array of colors that you can get for this microwave. Red is my favorite. It even has a light that comes on when you open the door. Operating it was a whole lot different than microwaves I've had in the past, but once you learn how to operate it, it's easy and fun. Overall, I absolutely love it! I would definitely recommend this microwave for anyone who's in to retro art deco styles. It's a very cool appliance.

Small Wonder
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tiny microwave to take with me on camping trips or if there's a power outage it takes a lot less power then my 1200 Watt at home microwave this is a 700 Watt unit, so it'll take a little longer cooking time but it's doing the job OK

This one does everything the bigger more expensive "name" models do... . This Insignia covers everything for half the cost it looks 10 times cooler sitting in your kitchen! So far so good. Absolutely love it. Perfect for bachelors like me.
