It is little and pretty, but still can fit a dinner plate for warming left overs. Part of my master bedroom is what I call, “My tiny kitchen”. My Insignia Microwave fits perfectly on top of my Hisense little refrigerator (has a separate freezer).. I also have a collection of tiny appliances (Dash).

It is absolutely excellent and reliable for what it does. It heats coffee & soup, and small frozen meals. It occupies very little space. Now that my new over the range has arrived, I have moved it to the pantry. Would also be perfect in a dorm.

I like how the timer and power settings work (now that I've figured them out). It is the same size as my old and ugly black microwave so it fits in spot perfectly. Great size for me.

Works well but had some initial ergonomic issues that took getting used to such as the safety latch/release on the top of handle which needs to depressed in order for the door to open. There's also a bottom dial to increase or decrease timer.
