Cord is securely fastened. Outlets are snug especially the USBs unlike many cheaper ones. Mounting slots on the back are deep enough to accommodate round screw heads without compromising security. Overall a well manufactured powestrip for the price.

I only wish there was one more of the latter because my Samsung chargers require a lot of space. Overall, good value and good purchase!

It has a good number of outlets to plug into if you have a lot of devices, and the outlet at the end which is spaced away from the other outlets so you can plug in a brick power supply needing more room. I also love the USB ports - I am always using them to charge my tablet or cell phone. I have bought a number of Insignia surge protectors identical to or similar to this one over the years, and they have all worked great for me - no problems whatsoever.

We recently had a lightning event (March 2023) and lost some surge protectors. The GOOD surge protectors saved our printer, hard drive, and monitor. We had another cheaper one in my husband's home office - lost the surge protector and everything plugged into it. Lesson learned. Always buy the good surge protectors. Like this one. And keep your insurance & warranty info up to date! :)

There was a severe weather event on May 22nd and a large tree branch landed on my roof. It partially pulled the wires out from my house. The ground wire was completely pulled out but the main line was still connected. The Insignia surge protector did its job. Two of them were fried, but my devices weren't damaged. I'm glad I chose this brand for my devices.
