There was a severe weather event on May 22nd and a large tree branch landed on my roof. It partially pulled the wires out from my house. The ground wire was completely pulled out but the main line was still connected. The Insignia surge protector did its job. Two of them were fried, but my devices weren't damaged. I'm glad I chose this brand for my devices.

Need to Plug something in??

Highlights: a flat plug!!!! Can plug in behind a couch or desk etc. and the furniture can still sit back against the wall. Not to mention that also the plug does not get bent by the furniture hitting it and bending it sideways. It is white with a clean look. Plenty of outlets including USB ports. We use those all the time. Great to be able to recharge our phones and other electronics without having to have extra USB plugs laying around.
