A little spendy but it works great and has several different ports for everything you need.

There isn't a whole lot that needs to be said about this device. It has ports for most everything you could need that is absent from say, your MacBook Pro. It has an ethernet port, HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, micro SD card port, standard SD card port, and a USB-C port. It has done everything I've asked of it with the exception of allowing me to hook up a MIDI keyboard. I can live with that because it has saved me a considerable amount of money with its versatility and all-in-one construction. Apple equivalents would have cost substantially more and I would have a mess of adapters to contend with instead of just the one.

Great accessory for my MacBook Pro, it does not get super hot like a lot of the other 3rd party Mac accessories (still gets warm). Just about everything you need in one convenient hub.

This adjunct to the Google Pixel Slate is well-priced and is reliable and flexible expansion of the wonderful Slate's capabilities. Functions flawlessly.

And reasonably affordable. Just wish that there's a dark color option, and the connector cable is longer and not as rigid.

I needed a way to connect a new Wacom Cintiq 16 tablet display (which requires an HDMI port as well as a USB-A port) to my Mac mini which only has one HDMI port (already occupied by my monitor). Plugged this into one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the mini, plugged in the Cintiq and it works like a charm! My only complaint is that the cord is much too short; I think it needs to be at least a foot long so that you have more flexibility in placing the hub (as it is it has to sit directly behind the Mac, on limited desk space). But if you can live with a too-short cord, this hub should fill your needs for more USB ports and an additional HDMI port.

A must have adaptor for any new MacBook! Gets a little warm, but overall an essential product for your new laptop without the extra ports.

Works great and compact. It was almost half the cost of the brand name recommended! Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Works great for a great price. Has a port for all of my needs, and then some.

I bought this to replace one by another brand which required drivers and wasn't updated to my current OS. The staff at Best Buy guided me to this one and it's so easy. Just plug in and use. No drivers, no software. It even has a slot for a card.

The reason for this item is that my new laptop only has one USB port, which I use for the mouse. I had to buy this Hub to be able to use my Flash drive, cooling pad (when needed) and charge my phone, etc. It works quite easy. I did not need the 7 ports, but this was the only model in store.

USB-Cs are generally annoying since I’m used to regular USB drives, but this is a great adapter that offers more ports. Decent price

I had purchased this USB-C hub with the intention of using it as a dock for an HP Pavillion laptop (middle-of-the road device, mostly home use) and found there were some limitations. I knew there wouldn't be power delivery through this USB-C hub as HP support let me know--the USB-C port on my laptop and it's power requirements do not allow for power delivery. I contacted both HP and Best Buy support for Insignia products because the HDMI port didn't allow me to duplicate or extend my monitor onto an auxiliary monitor. The USB ports all worked through the hub as well as the ethernet port but the HDMI didn't. I tried to find driver support online but there wasn't much for Insignia brand support. After exchanging e-mails with Insignia and HP I decided this hub simply wasn't compatible to use as an HDMI hub. I bought an HDMI-to-USB adaptor dongle and still couldn't get the monitor to work though this hub as a USB device, and for $70, it was more than I wanted to spend on what was just a USB hub without HDMI support. Best Buy took care of the return. I returned the device and purchased a simple 4-port USB to USB-C hub and with the HDMI dongle I got what I wanted (the monitor came on just fine and Windows recognized it on the first try).

Most new lightweight laptops have minimal ports (HDMI, USB, Network...)If you live in a Wi-Fi world, never need to project, hardwire connect to a network or use an additional large display, you are probably OK. For those of us who do need those capabilities, this is a good alternative. The only issue is the USB C-Hub connector wire is very stiff.

This is very useful to have for computers with usb-c ports. Compact and light, works with mac or pc.

This is working for my employee's laptop. Having everything in one device is very convenient. The price is pretty good compared to the rest of the market. However, the market is way overpricing similar hubs. As an Electronic Engineer, I can make a reasonable guess that there is less than $5 worth of parts inside, and certainly under $10. My user has had no problems with the device. He is using the HDMI, Ethernet, and USB ports. Taking off 1 star for value. Hope this helps, you won't go wrong with it.

Plug and play. Works great. Allows multiple connections at once. I needed Ethernet to USB-c and this did it!

Product is very food for reading SD card and giving MacBook extra ports and only using up one. Price isn’t the cheapest of the available products but worth it!
