    This is an awesome device. I was originally looking for a usb-c to ethernet dongle and figured I'd get this since it had other things as well. I already had other dongles with the same functionality, but this one destroys them all. It's well built and the quality is awesome. I don't even use my other ones anymore because this one does it all and only takes up one port on my 2019 Macbook.

    Since my MacBook Pro has only two USB-C sockets, you really need one of these all in one adaptors in order to do all the things you usually did on the older units that had all the normal sockets for just about everything. With this you can connect picture cards from you cameras, can connect the internet cat-5 cable, HDMI connections and other USB type connections. An important addition to your new laptop I would say. Thank you.

    I bought this for my surface pro 7 so that I could connect it to an external monitor. It does that and all ports seem to work except the ethernet port. However that could be an issue on windows side. It should very much be plug and play given what it's supposed to do so I take off a star for having to figure out why just plugging in ethernet is enough and requires troubleshooting on my end.

    I love this for my Mac! I bought one and about 9 months in the sd card went bad. No idea why but insignia is a Best Buy brand and backs the warranty and they traded me out for another, no questions asked, and the second one is great. It has exactly what I need and is light and compact to carry and use. With macs not having any memory readers now this is is a huge asset!
