Have one on my 17" Toshiba w/Window's 8.1 and love it Bought this one for my new 17" Dell laptop. Had a lot if trouble getting windows to recognize this hub. I did about 6 windows updates and it still didn't recognize it. I gave up and emailed support and the reply the next day was "Windows update will catch up to it" and low and behold, after closing their email (which I was reading on my phone) I booted up the laptop and the hub was working! Frustrated but HAPPY. This day and age with manufacturer's only building 2 or 3 ports in laptops, a hub is a must. Even desktops are sparce with ports

Hub is compact and functions well and no speed or lag in any of the responses for equipment or drives. Good for stationary set up and if you do not need to be use it on the go.

Super easy and works great. I have my mouse, keyboard, headset and webcam attached with no problems. Connected first time and never dropped.

Easy to hook up. Provides extra "plug-ins" for either a lap or desk PC. Easy to carry with laptop as it takes up little room.

My MacBook Air only has two USB ports. This device uses one of them and provides seven more. It is powered, which is a useful feature.

Purchased this specific hub because it features 7 ports. Includes a power cable that provides additional power to your PC/Laptop as well as a USB connector. Works great, using it right now as my keyboard and mouse are plugged into it to type this message.

This thing is great for hooking everything up. The tv just does not have enough ports for everything and this takes care of it. Easy to connect and use.

The best way to expand your ports on your PC. I love that it has stand alone power. I charge my Iphone even when my computer is off!

If you don't need USB 3.0, this is a good option for multiple ports - most hubs only have two or four. Mine has been very reliable and had had no issues.

Recently changed to a Mac and had to replace an old 4 port hub. This hub has provided the speed and capability I needed to transfer files between 4 stand alone hard drives. Glad I bought it!.

I needed to test an issue with my mom's computer since the USB keyboard and mouse were having problems being read from my hub. After having a Belkin hub for about 5 years, I figured I would try something inexpensive, so I went with this hub from Insignia. It works okay...easy plug and play detection and the fact that it was powered made it easier to see devices. Overall, it worked for the purpose of testing my devices and I will keep this for the next computer my mother buys.

I use this to combine 2 external drives, usb mouse and keyboard, external super drive (CD). Everything works flawlessly.

I love having this product for my computer. Whether it is when charging your phone, adding additional usb devices, etc......; it is highly recommended.

Have had no problems connecting my printers and 2 thumb drives w/o and known problems. This replaced an older 4 port hub.

it was very easy to install . I have many thing that I need to connect to computer so I needed extra ports and this was handy.

This hub is small, but powerful. No delay when devices are plugged in and is a great work horse. The best hub I have owned.

Takes up next to no space and consolidates USB cables for several pieces of equipment. Great value for the price.

7 hub was definitely worth it. I was in between this and the 4 port but I would always get the 7. Good price as well.

Works fine. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Happy to be able to keep more devices plugged in and charged.

This works very well! I’m glad I purchased this one vs one that was like a 4 or 5 port USB hub. So if you are on the fence, get the bigger 7 USB port hub would be my advice. I’m using it for my charging dock station and it fits perfectly inside there with lots of room to spare. The AC adapter cord is long enough to reach from the dock station on my nightstand to the outlet next to the nightstand. It’s definitely long enough but not incredibly long by any means. But the cord length will work for most scenarios I’d say.
