It has other slots for assorted other uses, which are great if you should need to work with them and and need to function while using a small port. I would like to see a model dedicated to only slots for at least two , three better, thumb drives only.

I was advised to buy this better quality device by the sales person and I am glad that I did. It operates flawlessly and is solid as a rock. I feel very confident it its ability to withstand the test of time and use.

Good Hub for MacBook Air

It works great as you would expect. Only hesitation of giving it 5 stars is the USB C port on the hub is only In and not Out. So good for charging or another USB C accessory, but you cannot project out of that port. *Disclaimer: I am a Best Buy employee.

I had not realized that the USB-C port is for charging only - it cannot be used for data transfer or peripherals. But, video pass-through was excellent, all of the other ports were great - no concerns or issues whatsoever.
