This is a nice multi alternative to my original one

I have long been a fan of multi-port USB hubs given the storage and data options of modern computers. This 7-port Insignia hub is the best I have used. First, it connects via USB-C, which all of my devices use. So that is convenient. And, of course, it is fast. When you connect to a computer, you don't need to do anything. It just works. That's the way it should be. No need to install some funky software interface that just wastes space on your hard drive. I was also able to connect it to my phone (a Google Pixel) and view and manipulate files on the drive. That is super handy. Specs and features list: * 7-port hub. As mentioned earlier, I really appreciated that it didn't require installing bloatware. * Wide compatibility. Works with Windows 10 & 11, macOS 10.12, Chrome OS 81 and Android OS. I have used it with Windows 11 and Android OS 14. * Slim design. Easily fits in your pocket, purse, backpack and more for easy transport. * Braided, 4.53 in. (11.5 cm) cable. Grants flexible placement while keeping the hub nearby. The Insignia 7-Port USC-C Hub does everything I wanted it for. I am very pleased.

The ether connection does not reliably connect upon laptop waking or turning on. Also, if I move the hub, the USB-C is not reliable and disconnects the hub. I have to juggle things to get it to reconnect. This hub is much too expensive to have these basick problems. Would return it if it hadn't gone past it's returnable date.

It was good but it was moving slow when i connected it to my monitor for some reason

Several ports stopped working after 1 year, tested my equipment, mouse and 2nd monitor directly to my laptop and they were worked fine! I needed this device to plug 2 monitors, keyboard and mouse ..well I paid $70++ for nothing! called the company and was told no longer under warranty!..will never buy this brand!

DOA. This arrived DOA. Tried a different computer same DOA. I won't say I do not recommend I can only tell you what happened to me. However, Best Buy was terrific. I took it back and exchanged it for a different brand.

Unfortunately, I have to return a lot of things to best buy because they don't work. Probably going to stop shopping here.

I bought the insignia 7 port usb-c hub to expand the connectivity of my laptop, which only has one USB-C port. I was impressed by the number and variety of ports this hub offers, including two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C port with Power Delivery, Ethernet port, HDMI port and two memory card readers. The hub is easy to use, just plug and play, and it works with Windows, Mac and Chrome OS devices. The hub is also compact and lightweight, making it ideal for travel or work. The insignia 7 port usb-c hub performs well in terms of data transfer speed, power delivery and video output. The USB 3.0 ports support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, which is fast enough for most of my needs. The USB-C port can provide power up to 87W to the USB ports simultaneously, so I can charge my laptop and other devices at the same time. The HDMI port supports 4K@30Hz resolution, which is great for watching movies or presentations on a larger screen. The Ethernet port offers full 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet performance, which is useful for stable and fast internet connection. The card slots accept microSD, SD, SDHC, and SDXC format cards, which is convenient for transferring photos or videos from my camera or phone. The only downside of this hub is that the USB-C port does not support data transfer, only power delivery. This means that I cannot use it to connect another USB-C device or a second monitor. Also, the hub can get a bit warm after prolonged use, but not too hot to touch. Overall, I am very satisfied with the insignia 7 port usb-c hub and I would recommend it to anyone who needs more ports for their laptop or tablet. It is a versatile and reliable device that offers great value for money.
