The Insignia Hub was necessary for utilizing existing cables and plugins to save some money. I was advised to buy this better quality device by the sales person and I am glad that I did. It operates flawlessly and is solid as a rock. I feel very confident it its ability to withstand the test of time and use.

It is a great item to have to use as a go between the thumb drives with wider inserts that insert into the older computers, to use on the newer computers. It has other slots for assorted other uses, which are great if you should need to work with them and and need to function while using a small port. I would like to see a model dedicated to only slots for at least two , three better, thumb drives only.

If you're looking for just an hdmi adapter with a couple extra usb ports this is your item. I was hoping the usb c would have been an added usable usb c port, but it is just a power delivery port. Which isnt a bad thing. Just wishful thinking

I bought this as a hub for my 2019 MacBook Air that only has two USB C ports. It works great as you would expect. Only hesitation of giving it 5 stars is the USB C port on the hub is only In and not Out. So good for charging or another USB C accessory, but you cannot project out of that port. *Disclaimer: I am a Best Buy employee.

Worked extremely well - very space efficient. I had not realized that the USB-C port is for charging only - it cannot be used for data transfer or peripherals. But, video pass-through was excellent, all of the other ports were great - no concerns or issues whatsoever.

Works perfectly. Use it for plugging in my dj equipment and for my cameras.

Out of 3 hubs that I tried with my Galaxy S9 Tablet this was the only one that worked without any issues. You might need a 100W brick to get the Fast Charging feature because its rated at 85W-PD, but it still charges with a 45W charger.

I needed more ports for my newly purchased laptop and this little beauty fit the bill perfectly. It is light, easy to stash and provides flexibility of purpose.

Great product, but overpriced and only two USB-A ports. There are cheaper options on Amazon that have one more USB-A port. Ultimately I decided to get this one because it is a trusted brand. It’d be nice to see Insignia redesign it to include a third USB-A port.
