This is a great deal for a 90° angle wire that is Type-C. I wish it was longer, but thats not going to be used against it. I would buy it again.

The insert next to the 90° angle could be slightly longer. Hardly able to pull it out after plugging it in because of a standard phone case.

I have this charging cable in the living room. It's not a daily use charging option. When I am watching TV, I will plug my phone in as needed. A few times a visitor needed to charge a device. It is always unplugged when not being used and kept in a basket on the coffee table. Here it is 3 months later, the cord won't hardly charge anything. I have tested different devices, different charging blocks, and different outlets. It charges my Samsung phone about 20% in the hour I let it sit. Not a long term cord for sure.

This was bought as a gift but is the incorrect type for my phone. I assume this works just fine for the correct phone. I am writing this for the $5 promo certificate.

Great cable, doesn't hold up to well with an active elementary age tablet user. Do recommend for the average user.

I am usually against getting a charging cord that does not come directly from the object's manufacturer, but I decided to give this Insignia one a chance. This seven foot cord is more than enough length for whatever I need, and I enjoy traveling with it for this reason. It is much stronger than the average cord thanks to the almost braided material that coats the entire outside length. I am also a big fan of leaning my phone up against my headboard when I mess around on it, so the right angle on the charging cord is very helpful! It also seems to charge pretty quickly compared to a factory charger. My only complaint comes with using the charger with a phone that has a case on it. The angled receiver part of the plug is juuuust barely long enough to charge it successfully, but it does not feel like a very secure connection. I use an Otterbox case, so a pretty common brand. Other that that, this cord has exceeded my expectations and I am glad I got it! I will have to get one for my work iphone too and I expect the same results!

I really liked the right angle USB C cable. When using my ipad I usually rest it on my leg and if I'm charging this puts a lot of pressure on the USB port (don't recommend doing this) and could break. This right angle cable helps alleviate that pressure and feels less likely to break the port. The cable itself is a nice string like fiber that seems like it would hold up better than the standard rubber. The length is perfect for me as I can have my ipad plugged in and now use it in bed. Attached to the cable is a rubber holder to wrap the cord up and have it stay in place. The holder is also big enough to wrap up other cables to help keep you organized. I really do recommend this cable if you use your tablet in landscape mode on your lap. We had a prior tablet that was used in landscape with a standard cable and it broke the USB port. I plan to get a couple more of these to hopefully avoid another broken USB port. This will now be added to my computer bag as a cable to use every day!

I received my insignia 7’ 90 degree braided usb-c to 90 degree usb-c charging cable last week and I love it. This is the first phone charging cable I have ever had that has a 90 degree angle plug on one end. Much like the first time I had an extension cord or power strip that offered the same thing I wondered why didn’t I seek out one of these more quickly? All in all it feels and acts like a good charging cable should. It doesn’t feel cheap or fragile. It even seems to charge a little faster than the cable I upgraded from. It looks nice and comes with a rubber strap to wrap it up when not in use. It is just a really good design to have one with the 90 degree angle for certain applications. This one goes right on top of my PC. Not only does it look cleaner with the 90 degree angle plug but it clearly is putting less stress on the cord and the port on the PC so I expect the cable should last a good long time. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that can make a difference and I plan on getting at least 1 more of these cables. I would absolutely recommend this to friend for any situation where a 90 degree angle would reduce strain on the cable.

The right-angle feature of this cable allows me to put my phone into its area in my vehicle. The right-angle makes the overall length of the phone and cord smaller than the standard USB-C cable. The USB-C on both ends allows the use of a fast charger. The right-angle end also saves on the forced bending and stretching of the cable. I have thrown away many cables after they come apart from the forced bending to fit in pockets. The cable comes with a rubber cable tie that is very flexible and should last a long time. The cable tie is extra long and can be used with cable management. There are a few holes in the end of the cable strap to adjust the length of the cable tie. While the cable is woven it is also flexible enough to bend without causing any damage. Using the cable for data transfer from my laptop to my desktop I noticed the increased speed and appreciated the quicker times for larger files. The charging of my Samsung phone was comparable to the original cable that was supplied with the phone, but it was however faster that other cables I use to charge the phone. I would recommend this cable and plan on replacing all my USB-C cables with it.

Its quality is top-notch, and I personally own one that has been in daily use for a year and is still going strong. While it may not be the cheapest cable available, considering the price and quality, I believe it’s an excellent choice to consider.
