It's not a daily use charging option. When I am watching TV, I will plug my phone in as needed. A few times a visitor needed to charge a device. It is always unplugged when not being used and kept in a basket on the coffee table. Here it is 3 months later, the cord won't hardly charge anything. I have tested different devices, different charging blocks, and different outlets. It charges my Samsung phone about 20% in the hour I let it sit. Not a long term cord for sure.
