Worked well for our trip to europe. It's quite large compared to other adapters but it also provides extra USB ports which were very helpful.

Powerful, Compact Charger for All Your Travels

The Insignia 70W Travel Adapter does an impressive job of combining versatility and portability. With two AC outlets, three USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports, it lets you charge a full complement of devices—laptops, phones, power banks, and accessories—simultaneously. The 70 W total rating is generous enough to support a medium-power laptop while still delivering fast charging to smaller devices. For travelers, having multiple output types in one compact package means fewer bricks, fewer adapters, and less clutter. Its black shell is unassuming, and the build seems solid for on-the-go use (though long-term durability will depend on internal heat management). In real-world use, the adapter shines when juggling multiple gadgets in tight spaces like airport lounges or hotel desks. The USB-C ports deliver good power distribution, ensuring your phone or tablet doesn’t get starved when the laptop is drawing heavily. However, I noticed a slight increase in heat when all ports were under load, so keeping it ventilated is wise. This adaptor's universal design uses United States, European Union, United Kingdom, and Australian plugs for compatibility with outlets in more than 200 countries and territories. The adapter is compatible with Type A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H I, J, L, N, and O outlets. (NOTE: This device does not convert voltage.) Overall, if your goal is a high-capacity, multi-port unit that can handle laptops and peripherals together while traveling, the Insignia 70W Travel Adapter is a solid choice. It balances power, flexibility, and footprint well, though users should monitor its temperature under heavy loads and ensure they have the right plug adapters for international sockets.

Swiss Army knife for Travel power adaptability

I haven’t had the chance to test this Insignia travel adapter out internationally yet, but I’m already excited to have it tucked neatly into my travel bag for when the time comes. Just holding it, you can tell this isn’t your average travel plug it’s got a little heft and size to it, but that’s completely understandable given that it’s an all-in-one adapter solution designed for travelers hopping between different regions around the world. The design is clever and well thought out. It features slide out plug adapters that let you switch between USA, Australia, Europe, and U.K. outlet types with just the push of a button. Each plug locks securely in place, so you don’t have to worry about it collapsing mid-use. It’s a very convenient, compact approach to what would otherwise be a messy collection of loose adapters. Beyond just being a plug converter, this thing really shines with its multi-output charging capabilities. It offers multiple power outputs at 70W, 45W, and 20W, meaning it can easily handle anything from charging a smartphone or tablet to topping off a laptop or power bank. The array of ports is impressive, included are 2 USB-A, 3 USB-C, and a USA/JP socket making it a true Swiss Army knife for charging gear. Whether it’s for a vacation or business trip, this adapter ensures you’re powered up wherever you land. Insignia also thought through the finer details. There’s a built in fuse to protect your devices from surges, and they even included a spare fuse in case you need a quick replacement on the go. The LED light indicator is another simple but handy feature that gives you a quick visual cue for normal or abnormal operation, adding peace of mind when plugging into unfamiliar outlets abroad. Even though I haven’t put it through its paces overseas yet, I can already tell this will be one of those must have travel essentials I’ll never leave home without. For anyone who travels internationally for work or leisure, the Insignia travel adapter covers every base in one solid, well-built package.

Insignia 70W International Travel Power Adapter

So I just received my Insignia 70W International Travel Power Adapter about a week ago and have been testing it out. Now I’ve not had the chance as of yet to test the other outlets as I’ve not had an international trip planned recently but hopefully by next summer I will be able to test this out if everything goes according to plan. However, whenever I take my next international trip, this travel adapter will definitely be tagging along as well. This is a really well built solid travel charger that can be used in a variety of regions with different out plugs from what we have here in the US. The face of the power adapter has multiple socket ports. On the left side are buttons for the different region areas EU, USA/AUS, and UK. Depending on the region you’re visiting simply press the button and slide it towards the back of the charger and the appropriate prongs for that region will pop out the back of the adapter. The right side of the travel adapter consists of a USA/JP (Japan) socket and a USB-C port just below it. On the bottom of the travel adapter are 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports. The included instruction are very helpful in identifying which ports are for what region as well as the wattage of those ports. Overall I’m loving this travel adapter and will be definitely using it when traveling abroad. Very solid build with a nice heft to it. Doesn’t feel like something thats just gonna fall out. Definitely recommended for those that love to travel around the globe.

My New GoTo Travel and Power Adapter

Insignia has done it again with it's new 70 watt travel adapter. It is very nicely designed and well built to provide an all-in-one type solution for both home and travel use. Beginning with its compact functional package, the Insignia Travel Adapter contains the following power adapters: - Four (4) recessed plug types for use in the United States, European Union countries, Australia, and United Kingdom (England) allowing for use in over 200 countries and territories around the globe - Two international AC outlets - 3 USB-C ports - 2 USB ports All of these ports and plugs are self-contained in just this one small heavy duty black 70 watt block making it easy to use and transport wherever life takes you. There are no external adapters, plugs, blades or dongles to carry with you as everything is self-contained! The 70 Watts of power makes charging quick and easy and using internationally is a breeze - just slide out the appropriate adapter and plug it in. It just works that easily and is ready to travel when you are. You no longer have to try and find all the different plugs and blades you might have lying around to gather up before you travel. Just grab the Insignia and go.

    Convenient, portable, lots of options

Need this travel adapter for a trip to Italy. The plug-type selector on the side makes it easy to select the proper "male" plug for your outlet type...and they are labeled EU, USA/AUS, UK. No carrying around a bag of "plug types" that you have to click or screw onto the adapter. With ample USB-C and USB-A ports for the average traveler, you can charge your laptop (70W) and your smaller devices (phone, tablet, earbuds, etc.) from the same adapter. Important to note, only one USB-C port provides 70W support and that is only if the other USB ports are not in use...otherwise you are getting 45W from the USB-C port. It should be noted that this device DOES NOT CONVERT VOLTAGE but it does have a fuse to help protect your devices. Overall, a great, small, portable device with connectivity options that will help you feel like you are home (electrically speaking) with your devices while traveling to any of 200 different countries. Plus, the price point and technology built into the adapter should leave you pretty confident that your devices will be safe.
