We followed the directions for first use. However, after a few days, the wines are still not cold enough as expected. We have to return the unit because there's not much difference between storing the wine in the fridge vs storing them in this wine cooler.

Nice Wine Cooler

I don't have to wait for it to chill. It's perfect for a beginner, holds just enough. The only down fall to this cooler is that the bottom deck is designed like the others. Two bottles fit just fine, but they aren't as secure as the others and can roll.

The lighting is cool, and it is pretty quiet. The only negative I would give it, is that I would like if the temperature guage went a little cooler that 46 degrees. I like my white wines for summer chilled cooler than that for hanging out on the patio.
