I've programmed several universal remotes through the years, and this was the easiest. Most of my equipment is older, and it had the codes for everything except my 33 year old CD player (remember those?). It can also copy the codes from a remote for obscure devises, like my old CD player. It has the essential features: mapping the volume and mute to one device no matter the device chosen, and the ability to program macros. The only downside is, the IR emitters seem to be weaker than the Sony universal remote this replaced.

you never really know, the sales associate said it "should" work on my brothers old tv. Well long story short it did and everyone is happy

Works great. I use it for my Sony tv, roku and stb. Setup was easy.

The Insignia TV Remote Works Very Well With The Insignia TV Of 65 Inches .

The fact that a significant majority of reviews for this remote were positive gave me the confidence to buy one. Unfortunately, my experience came closer to those customers who wrote negative reviews. For me, this remote was impossible to properly program. I found the direction booklet lacking in that it did not provide clear, step-by-step programming instructions. There were many trials and man errors; there was no success. Was it the devise? The system? Me? I don't know for sure. I have returned the remote, it was not even remotely useful.

Currently using this remote to control basic home theater setup. Yamaha receiver, Sony tv, cox cable box. Works good for what it is intended for. Easy to program and operate. More functions and controls available than I am using.

It wasn't difficult to to set up. And works just like my original remote for my cable box.

Great remote. Combined cable, soundbar, TV, and stereo receiver all into meaningful one touch groupings. Solved intergrating my home systems with Comcast.

Easy to program. Works great with Roku tv and Samsung Blu Ray player.

Bought this to replace the much smaller remote that the TV came with. The directions are easy to follow, and ahuge plus is that you can control many devices with just one remote.

Got this because the original remote for an Insignia TV stopped working correctly. I was able to quickly program the remote in a matter of seconds thanks to some pre-programmed options, which was great. In addition, this remote has an ability to "learn" from another remote, and I was able to use that to program a specific button as a sleep timer. I've only used this for a TV and nothing else, so I can't speak for how this remote handles multiple devices, but I'm extremely happy with this remote thus far.

It does the job for my xbox and other streaming things and my tv. The only thing i cant get it to connect to is my surround sound.

This enabled our TV to once again start! The old one had a faulty starter switch.

Got it to replace my Harmony Universal 665. The internal light is a little weak, does perform all 'actions' and set-up a bit awkward. but overall surprising capable for the price.

High quality multi-device remote that is very easy to set-up and use. I have it set to control my soundbar, TV, cable box and apple TV. It took all of 10 minutes to setup, very easy, clear to follow instructions. Recommend it as I now have 1 remote instead of 4.

We are very happy with our purchase. So glad that our Best Buy is near our house and items like this can be quickly replaced there if anything goes wrong.

We were using a solar powered tv controller that never stayed charged. This Insignia tv controller is battery charged and worked right out of the box with our Samsung tv.

Remote works great! I love how we can add up to 8 devices. Very easy to use and I can easily find one remote instead of 6 LOL!

This universal remote is perfect, finally a remote that works with my Samsung sound bar. I love only having to use one remote for everything.
