    This is exactly what it say, and as best I can tell after using it for a few days, it does what it says. The only comment I would make is to be aware of the end that plugs into the wall. Observe that it is a circular plug -- but it does not rotate. The cord will always extend a short distance to the lower left of the outlet. This means that the cord can stay closer to the wall if you want to run the cord to the left -- but it shortens the run if you want the cord to go in any direction other than to the left and down. Also, because of that shape, it can interfere with other products plugged into the same outlet if those products have a large or unusual plug shape. In other words, before buying this, know what you will be plugging into the outlet!
