Got this on sale to put on the back of our family room tv. It plugs into usb on the back of tv and it produces several nice colors, but you do have to manually set them. If you have the money to splurge, I would go with the Phillips Hue light strip instead, which you can control from the app and play with colors a lot more.

Although the 3m tape did not stick to my TV that was due to my TV having a non flat type backing. Samsung 65’ inch has a ridged typed backing that’s not smooth so tape on LED was unable to grip what it was coming in contact with. Not products fault but sharing in the event someone with a ridged TV backing is reading. No need to buy double sided tape, was able to just use duct tape and create a border frame on the back of my TV. LED was able to 100 percent grip the duct tape being it was smooth and flat. Product looks great. Wish I was still able to use USB power instead of plug in unit so it can look clean and wireless, either way very satisfied with my purchase. 16ft was more than enough to fully go around a 65’ TV, did have to cut some off so there wasn’t any over hang.

If you are on a budget and looking for budget friendly hue lights, then these are it. You will get multiple colors and controls are easy to use and understand. They come in multiple lengths so It helps to bring a different element to any room.

Was looking to buy an LED strip for my kitchen and saw this on deal of the day so I grabbed it up. Installed it about a week ago and still loving it. Install was easy. Double side tape sticks under the cabinet without any issues (so far). They have 8 bright settings. I use the brightest as a night light. There's also about 20 different colors you can choose from. I change it depending on the mood. It's low profile so you don't see it after install and I have it plugged into a usb outlet that I installed. Instructions say you can cut it down if need to but I used all 4 feet that I bought.

I scored this on Best Buy's deal of the day at a reduced cost and figure, what could it hurt. After opening the package I was surprised to find that the LED light strip was rubber coated which makes for easy cleaning and prevents electrical issues when coming into contact with something else. I really like the fact that it uses USB and it's fairly bright. The only minor downside is that I was a bit disappointed in the overall LED strip length. It's not nearly as long as others out there for the same price but I suppose you sacrifice build quality and versatility for length. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Very easy to install (make sure to wipe surface clean) with self aggressive tape. Color change and brightness options allow you to customize to lighting in the room. Wish it came with a remote option.

This is great for under counter lighting, the controller is easy to use and can change to so many different colors and actions, easy to install, or even above cabinets also.

I purchased these for my husband's huge TV. It dominates our den so the soft backlighting of the Insignia LED tape lights is awesome. He also says that it makes watching TV easier on his eyes and he likes that it looks like he is walking into a theater to see a movie. We chose the lighting with the adapter to be able to plug it into the wall or to plug it into the TV. Wound up plugging it into the wall so that it stays on all the time. Makes a great "night-light" for him moving around at night and for me getting up early and heading out before daylight to work. Overall a great product. Pricey but nice.

These led under counter lights were easy to install and provide excellent lighting. Installed in less than 10 minutes. I like the ability to change the colors.

Bought to replace buzzing strip lights in my workshop. A big improvement! Very even lighting so I can see what I'm doing more accuractely. Just the right colour so that it feels natural, like daylight, not harsh white or overly warm. Decently bright without being glaring. Well worth the money. Also stuck to unfinished, plain pine shelves without any difficulty, so good adhesive. The strip in the photos is only 2m of the lighting. I cut it shorter without any difficulty and will use the remainder in other areas of my workshop.

Easy to install on my 65” flat screen; love that there are so many vivid color choices that set any mood at night. The lights also turn off automatically when you turn off the tv.

Easy to setup. Lot of light color options. Brighter dimmer options are much helpful. Affordable price definitely recommend

My son originally purchased these for his college dorm room and they put out a lot of light. The set also has a remote so you can change to multiple color options. My daughter decided she wanted a set for her bedroom at home and she loves them. They were really easy to put up - you just peel and stick them. You just have to make sure that the end will be near an outlet to plug them in. They are a little expensive but if you can get them on sale, it's a very good deal. Overall, I definitely recommend these lights!

These work great. They are bright and come with a high quality adhesive backing so they stay put. Easy installation and you can cut to length if you need to.

These lights are very bright with a great variety of colors and cool effects. I use the white light for high visibility or tune it down to amber for dinner. Red is great for night time trips to the fridge. Blue, green purple, strobe and fade. My favorite color is the blue green aqua. The remote is handy and fun. 16 feet of color fun! I think I'd like to get another. Many practical uses, or just great for a party vibe. My 13 year ol daughter loves the lights and wanted to get this after she saw it. Just get it! you won't regret it!

These are really easy to use and add so much to a room. Wish they had more options for transitions and some of the buttons don't do what they say they will do. like the flash setting fades between colors. I though this was a problem with just my unit but it seems to be everyone. Besides that for the price these are great. If you want to add a little bit more value set up multiple of these with a smart plug and you can automate these similar to the higher end smart light strips.

Bought this to help light up some shelving for my dad. It works beautifully. Lots of customization with the light colors and brightness levels. Being able to trim it down to the size you want (more or less) was extremely useful for us as it was a little longer than we needed for where we mounted it. The glue strip on the bottom is surprisingly sticky, but the way it's rolled up in the package can make it a little challenging to put up since it wants to roll back up a little. Pretty easy to work around but something to consider or at least be aware of.

Great for above the kitchen cabinets. Makes a fantastic nightlight or when entertaining. Hooked it up to my smart plug so I don’t have to manually turn it on/off. Dimming range is descent too. Bought it when it was on sale “Deal of the Day”... Bought another for my old LCD tv and placed it around the back . Helps with eyes when watching a movie in a dark room (bright to dark scenes in the movie). Best part is the usb power cord plugs right into the side of the tv and is turned on when the tv is powered up.

I love it, pretty easy to use. Just I think that the battery died because the control is not working properly but I just think need the battery to be replaced but other than that is pretty good and really good for the cost

Fair price and works very well Make sure you Wipe clean the back of your tv of any dust! Or wherever Else you may be placing the light strip Any dust the lights will not stick
