He likes being able to adjust the colors and mix it up now and then when he's gaming. He taped them to the sides and back of the desk for subtle lighting and they do a nice job and he's plugged them into his PC tower via the USB connection. No complaints from him, so none from me!

I needed something with an in-line remote since my TV light strip is activated via RF remote. I didn’t want my other lights getting turned off on accident or the colors changed. So this fit the bill perfectly for some accent lighting in my room. However at regular price I would not recommend these but if you could get them on a deal I would go for it.

Actually using this as task lighting above my desk & works great, warm tone reduces screen time eye strain.
