When I'm at home the screen is to small sitting at my desk. When I looked at my old monitor from a previous desktop it had an HDMI port. So I purchased this product and it works. Now the picture is not as good as my laptop screen, but given the age of my monitor, I'm sure it's the monitor at fault. The cable serves it's purpose. Gave it four stars cause of the price. I think 29.99 was a little much for an Insignia cable. But I am still very pleased. Do intend to upgrade my screen soon, nice to know I have the cord already.
