Insignia 8-Outlet Surge Protection, 1200 Joules

Hoping the 1200 joules of protection is a good investment, as I used surge protection on all of my electronics... Plugged it into Wall, then plugged in 2 Purple Power Bases and clock....and hope that is the last I actually have to deal with it....out of sight, out of mind...but protected from surges.

I needed this because my other surge protector stopped working and i needed one right away because I do a lot of computer work and there are not a lot of outlets in my apartment.
