I've used insignia products for awhile.. during the latest thunderstorm, my previous insignia surge protector saved my sound system, Directv, bluray, and xbox, but I lost my tv. Home insurance took care of the tv. But the surge protector did its job for the most part.

I bought because I recently had a power outage and when the power went back on the power surge fried my laptops charging port and i feel safer having this one now

what can i say its a surge protector and it does its job. nothing fancy no usb charging but has 8 outputs and 600 joules to protect electronics. got a couple of these on sale for 9.99 and for that price these things are great would reccomend to anyone looking for a cheap but effective surge protector

I was going to use this behind my bed for a Bose speaker and my phone charger but it isn't a 90 degree angle one. I switched this to the computer room and it works great there. For what it does, it works well and no false trips, and most importantly it was almost free with the discount (daily deal).

It has widely spaced outlets that are good for plugging in phone chargers and such. I use it mostly for that purpose.

Just what I was looking for. Surge protection AND plenty of outlets for all my entertainment system.

Very easy to use, the wide proportion of the power strip makes it lie flat on the floor - not like the narrow strips that tend to wind up on their side from time to time. Good outlet layout, easy to place power supplies without blocking adjacent outlets. Sale price made it a no-brainer, this is a great product at a great price.

This unit fit perfectly behind my setup. I needed a multi outlet unit for my TV, DVD player, sound bar and cable box that are in a custom unit in a niche above the fireplace. I now have easy access to each cord and be able to add additional hardware. The 4 foot cord is the perfect length.

This Insignia surge protector and multi outlet works great for me to plug in several devices at once and feel safe knowing the power surges that occur in my home during storms or the recent cable company work will not result in damage or loss of my expensive devices. Great price point for protection you need.

I'm happy I walked into Best Buy when I did because I caught a sale on top of a (clearance) sale. I love my laptop! It's exactly what I was looking for and more. The ability to touch the screen when the mouse pad becomes annoying is huge a +. My 6 year old is able to use it with little to no assistance at all.

If you need good protection for your entertainment system without paying a premium for what is essentially all the same features, look at insignia's line up of power strips. They are made well and good enough. Don't get charged extra for features that you will most likely not benefit from unless you have a crazy home theater, or very serious very premium gaming setup.

Perfect for what we need it for and we can’t complain it holds all our cables that we need.

Not exactly a glamorous piece of electronics but it is a necessity for most of us. I like this one because it has more outlets with plenty of space around them. Almost everything seems to come with a power supply that has a big "wall wart" for the plugin and they just don't fit well next to each other.

The surge protector plug is perfect. The outlets are not close to each other giving it space for larger plugs
