Purchased to help product my other products that are connected. Living in Florida, we get daily thunderstorms during the summer months, and it's important to have a surge protector to ensure nothing gets an extra volt that ends up damaging it. The product is as is, easy to use and very reliable.

My son reconfigured my Internet connection. “Mom, why do you still have these power strips from 20 years ago When I was still living at home? Don’t you know they could be a safety hazard?” So he bought this sleek black unit and gave the oldies To the recycling center. I can plug in my computer and chargers, VR headset, dehydrator and keyboard, with two slots to spare.

It just happens to have the perfect layout for everything you probably need to have plugged in, into a single power strip. It is kind of odd looking but...it's actually quite functional. It's one of those products that actually works better than the overly-hyped expensive ones. Get it. You won't be sorry.

When I say its my third, I mean because I was impressed with the first two and bought the third to reign in the chaos of plugs in other parts of my house. This one is going to be my 2nd (yes 2nd) for my computer...I have that many external components, and a good surge protector with a lot of empty plugs is what I needed, and I did not want to pay $50 for one, so when I saw this at Best Buy the first time, I thought I would give it a try. Works great, no problems so far, and I can honestly say that even though I live in Florida, I really hope that it does not have to test the surge protection part of the surge protector.

I have my 55 inch vizio, ps4, xbox one, wii u, onkyo surround sound system and my comcast cable box connect to it and never had a issue, no electrical shortage and looks to manage all the devices at once.

Bought this to replace a narrow type of surge protector that I'd been using for a while. The challenge with those being it is not very optimal when you have power adapters of different sizes, shapes. This one is much better suited for my needs since the wide form factor and the spacing between the outlets makes it easier to plug adapters of different sizes. I like the Insignia brand of products very much since they offer the same quality as a name-brand but at a much better price!

Gone are the days of having that one bulky plug that messes up the configuration of my power strip. I was looking for a power strip that can handle all of the bulky plugs that come with some electronics. At the price of this one compared to its competitors is an awesome product especially at it price! It is well designed and well thought out. It fit every plug for every product that I have in my room: PS4 TV Appletv Nintendo Switch Super NES classic Computer Monitor Charger for 3DS They all fit in the strip with no problems. I highly recommend!

There are a few reasons why I would prefer this surge protector over any others I've looked at. First of all, I love that I can hang this on my wall behind my television - My TV is up pretty high and the cord doesn't reach the outlet or the ground. By hanging this surge protector on the wall, everything reaches without stretching the cords. I also love that all the plugins on the surge protector are facing outwards. I have a lot of power supplies that would take up two plugins on my old surge protector, which was a huge waste. Now I'm able to utilize every plug.

It does what it's advertised to do; biggest thing I like about this is that the plug-in sockets are arranged around the power strip as opposed to the average power strip, which are all in a line. If you have a router or something similar that has a large power adapter, you can only plug it into the bottom socket of a line-type strip. If you happen to have any other large power adapters, you will have to cover up other sockets on the strip. With this product, you can plug in multiple larger power adapters if needed. Not a huge selling point, but something that has occasionally frustrated me in the past.

Exactly what I was looking for at a price I liked. I had a big backup battery surge protector that kept beeping and cutting out. Plus, the outlets were too close together to fit the larger plugs conveniently. This one has very nicely spaced outlets and is much less expensive. I’ve been through a couple of outages since getting this and I have had no problems.

I had a power surge few months ago and lost several electical gadgets. In one case my local surge protector protected the TV but the protector was itself burned out. So I went to BB and replaced it. It has worked fine and was really easy to instrall.

This has been a stellar surge protector. I have several tool battery chargers and other items plugged into it, and it never fails to do its job. Lots of flexible space for different-shaped plugs, and easy to wall mount.

Got it because the power coming through my house surges quite a bit during storms...fried my motherboard. Replaced the motherboard and made sure I had this before firing up my rig. The power still surges, but this keeps my motherboard safe. Highly recommended.

This is the second Insignia 8-Outlet Surge Protector Strip that I have purchased. The first one has protected my equipment for over 2 years now. When I needed more outlets and protection (as my electronics have increased), I immediately chose the strip because of reliability and price. Very satisfied. It does lack some of the bells and whistles of upgraded power strips (USB charging outlets, for instance) but I did not need them and went for the price (so I can use the savings for other purchases).

I decided to buy this outlet and give it a try - best decision ever. I can now plug everything in without have to adjust and readjust and prioritize which plug to unplug. It kind of defeats the purpose of having multiple outlets when you can only use one or two at a time. I have my computer, my son's computer, iPhone charger all plugged in at once. It is so amazingly convenient. I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago. Great purchase and useful.

I purchased this specifically because it had multiple "wall wart" capable outlets. I can't comment on its worth as a surge suppressor since I don't have anything plugged in that would overtly benefit from that feature. The build quality is good though, and the outlets grip what's plugged into them well.

I bought this item when it was on sale for a new TV I had just purchased and it is doing what its made to do ! I got it for a great deal on those deal of the day - well worth it ! my only regret was not getting a few more ! A + Product !

I bought this surge protector for the length of the cord and the number of outlets. I rearranged my living room and required a longer cord to reach my outlet. This hanged the job beautifully and was long enough to keep cable management a priority.

I'm not using this with anything super heavy duty, but I do have my cable modem and router plugged in through this and I wanted to make sure they were protected. I mainly wanted something that would allow my to plug in the large power adapters they use without blocking the other outlets. This got the job done perfectly for me. I have 3 fairly built power adapters plugged into this and as long as you're using one of the 4 outer outlets they will not cover up any of the other outlets. Haven't run into issues so far.

I bought this almost 2 years ago, so I could hide the mess of wires behind my TV. The black color makes is hide very easily, and all of the connections are solid. I've never tripped the circuit, so I don't know how effective that is. The spaced out plugs is a nice feature in order to connect clunky plugs. Using extension cords and multi-plugs, I've had like 12-14 things plugged in at once and had no problem at all.
