    Worst refrigerator/freezer

    The freezer stopped working after 5 months of purchase. I lost the entire contents of the freezer. When I called to report this, I received horrible customer service and was eventually told that I needed to bring the product back to Best Buy for service. I had the product delivered on purchase (paid extra for this) because of the fact that I had no way to get it to my home. It was delivered with a small dent on the door which I did not complain about because I purchased this as a garage refrigerator. The refrigerator was still working and I had been storing food there. I have a food prep service and store food in this product until I deliver to customers. The refrigerator froze all of the food that I had stored in it despite the fact that I had it on the lowest setting. Horrible product and Best Buy will do nothing to service or replace this product unless I find a way to get it to them. I will never purchase from Best Buy again.

    2 broken within months of new

    We have had 2 of these and both started freezing everything in the refrigerator while everything was melting in freezer. The temperature settings did not matter. It is possible that this is happening because of being in a cold (35 + degrees) garage but our old cheap little fridge did not have this issue in 7 years. Best buy was good about exchanging so good job to Best Buy customer service. Just stay away from this fridge. It may work fine indoors but definitely not for garage use.

    I was super happy when l bought this fridge last year in January. I would have given it 5 stars until a week ago that the temperature control panel stopped working and there is no parts to replace them, couldn't believe it! My appliance tech says to never buy appliances made out of the USA. So disappointed.

    Stopped working a few days after 1 year warranty expired...hard to find someone to repair....when I found a repairman the cost to repair was 3 times the price of the refrigerator...will not buy Insignia products again!
