I took this on a plane to watch movies as it helps pass time. It held a charge and I was able to watch hours of films. No problem getting it through airport security. Lightweight so you can take it anywhere and if you don't have one of these for kids you need to get one. Also very affordable for the features it has.

I love this little portable DVD player. I'd give it 5 stars if the volume could go a little higher, because I wanted to show my class a movie, which I did. And I guess the volume "forced" the students to listen! But overall, it's a great item for travel. Would have been nice if a travel case came with it, but I make due with one I bought at a craft show.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM BACK IN THE HOLIDAYS FOR OUR SON. GREAT COLOR AND GREAT SOUND WHICH IN OUR CASE WE ARE ALWAYS TRAVELING OR AT DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENTS. I HAD NO IDEA THIS CAN BE CHARGED OTHER THEN YOUR TIPICAL PLUG IN CONNECTION! LOVE IT AND LASTS PRETTY LONG WHEN CHARGED FOR DVD'S TO BE WATHCED. THE DOWN FALL IS THAT YOU CAN'T PLAY BLU-RAY'S!!

Great product needed something for our 2yo, it has held up to her, battery time is good, plus best part the car charger is long enough to reach front of car, movies will start where you left off when you turn it off

This portable DVD player is light weight and extremely easy to operate. You can use the adaptor when you are at home or use the battery for viewing on the go. The screen size is good and picture quality sharp and clear. Overall, it is a relatively inexpensive but very good investment.

MY first unit would not take a charge even after I tired all night, this unit charges up each and every time. Different from my old DVD Player. I have a shelf on my treadmill and use it mostly when I'm walking. So far picture / color have been great.,

I bought this for my 5yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! It's great for long car trips. It comes with a bunch of much needed accessories. Like the car charger, home charger, and a "y" adaptor so her and a friend can watch with headphones. The picture is good. The only downsides are the volume without headphones is a little low, and it doesn't charge when plugged in while watching a movie.

My wife and I bought this portable player for a trip out of state. We were able to enjoy a movie together on the plane, plus we were able to plug it into our hotel room TV and use it as a standard DVD player. Works great, excellent picture, swivel screen -- a very nice little unit. For use in the hotel I was wishing that it came with a remote, but that's a (very!) minor complaint. Go get it!

I purchased this DVD player in the middle of a road trip and was quite pleased with the quality of the picture and the ease of use. I love the swivel design and the ability for the screen to lay flat. A good buy for the price.!

The versitility of this product ensures it will be useful for many situations. It arrived with a car adapter, an ac adapter, and has a built-in lithium battery with 2.5 hours of use before recharging is needed. The screen can be twisted in all directions to achieve the most comfortable format in any seating situation. Of course it has ear buds for a quiet listening experience.

I purchased this item to help me with piano lessons on dvd. I have placed the dvd player on top of a piano and use it daily. I can't review its durability because I don't open/close it or transport it from place to place. It is a nice sized screen and the swivel feature is great but somewhat difficult to swivel because you have to hold the base down as you swivel the screen. The speakers/sound is very poor and you will probably need to use the headphone jack to enjoy movies. I have only used it for a couple of weeks. I hope it lasts for a long time. My last dvd player's laser broke after about a year.

It's not sturdy, but has a large screen, easy to use, and great for road trips for my toddler. Wished it had a remote, as my prior one did, but it's not imperative.

This unit is super simple to use. Just plug it in, turn it on, pop in a CD, push play. Good picture, sound could be a bit more dynamic & louder, but it works well with headphones. It's compact & light enough to travel with, lay in bed with or prop up on a nightstand. It's easy to operate - nothing complicated about his unit. I didn't even have to look at the operating instructions to work it. A 5 year old could figure it out. Good price, good deal.

So far great! I would recommend this product. The portable DVD player has a very crisp picture. It would have been great if it had a remote to it.

I bought this to occupy my 7 yr old niece on our drive to Florida. Overall it was easy to operate and has a nice swivel screen.

GREAT DVD PLAYER. CLEAR PICTURE, VOLUME COULD BE A LITTLE LOUDER. WOULD BE NICE IF IT CAME WITH REMOTE. BUT, HANDY FOR POWER OUTAGES OR USE IN THE KITCHEN OR LAUNDRY ROOM.

Thought these items were way out of style; needed it for work dvds. Brilliant picture, easy to use, no problems. Wouldn’t have expected an older technology would be so upscale good. Well done.

My wife loves this little dvd player. She thinks that the picture and sound quality are great for such a compact device. It is both lightweight and easy to use.

The screen size is good. It's very easy to use and is quite sturdy. The player I had before felt flimsy compared to this. I'm very pleased and would recommend the Insignia brand.

This was a great DVD player to purchase for a 4 year old as it is lightweight and he can handle it well and simple to operate. And as a Bonus, he is not tying up my big screen to watch movies all the time
