We were on vacation & my 5 year old daughter's portable dvd player broke. We were in a panic because we had a 3 hour flight home & needed something to entertain her on the plane after coloring & books were done. This dvd player was easy to use & she loved the rotating screen. (she was pretending it was an ipad.) She is not always gentle on her dvd players, but this one was pretty sturdy.

I would highly recommend this to a friend. It is very clear and easy to use.

We got this mostly for long car rides and camping trips. Works great! Haven’t had a problem with battery life at all; holds a charge through at least two movies. Buttons to skip ahead and pause are sometimes are a little glitchy, but for the price it works great! Also has a bit of a plastic smell to it.

This DVD Player is easy to operate. The picture on the screen is excellent, and so is the sound.

I purchased the Insignia portable,based on price. I am pleased with the quality of the player. It is a pleasure to use. The screen is nice. I enjoy watching movies on the go.

I love my new portable DVD player, I can use it in any room that does not have TV/DVD. I can exercise with my DVDs, or watch a movie in bed. Such a useful thing! You can use it on batteries (up to 2.5 hours play time) or plugged in.

I typically buy Insignia brand which is Best Buys own brand and I've always had good luck. This DVD unit is reasonably priced and although I just recently purchased it, I know it will last a long time since this is my fourth or fifth Insignia DVD unit for all my kids when we travel. I don't want to talk negatively about other brands but based on my own experience I do have to mention that I've tried several other brands such as RCA, Phillips, and Sony and none of them have outlasted Insignia. Based on these experiences over many years with these portable DVD units I would certainly recommend Insignia brand.

I really like the ability to open and rotate the screen. Also its really light for the kids to hold.

I am very happy with my purchase, and I wish I had purchased this product sooner. It has good viewing quality and good sound; I didn't even have to purchase speakers to go along with it.

Position of buttons were great for someone with challenged motor skills. Easy operation and Screen had good graphics. The DVD door lacks mechanical integrity and lost spring action about 30 days after purchase.

Like product, but frustrated that I did not buy it when it was 69 dollars. On other hand, got more reward certificates. Price went up 89 dollars. At times, the DVD player froze when I was watching a DVD. Also the volume is very low.

Volume was not loud enough to compromise the noisy motor. Pictures were clear. DVD player looks really cheap. I had to return it because of the loud noise when the DVD is on/playing.

This item practically came ready to use out of the box. Simple instructions to follow, plug it in, let it charge, use. !!! Very easy. The audio & video are very good, clear crisp and HD quality. The great thing is that the batteries are rechargeable and included, no need to have to worry about removing and charging them separately. If you want a great small player, this is the one.
