      Hello! The presence of snow-like pixel effects, missing video lines or in some cases a totally black screen points to a degraded HDMI signal and in some cases, inadequate USB power available to the Oculus headset. If these effects are not present when the extension cable is removed, it means that your setup is already operating at the maximum cable length that your particular graphics card and USB power is capable of. Make sure that your PC and graphics card meet the minimum recommended configuration by Oculus. These snow-like pixel effects, missing video lines or in some cases a totally black screen is normally due to the fact that there is a degraded HDMI signal and/or in some cases not enough USB power available to the Oculus headset. If these effects cannot be seen after the extension cable is removed, it means that your setup is already operating at the maximum cable length that your graphics card and USB power are capable of. Please ensure that your PC and graphics card meet the minimum recommended configuration by Oculus. in addition to this, you could consider installing an additional USB 3.0 card in your PC to provide full power to the headset.
