Signal comes through my Oculus but the signal keeps cutting out and showing noise. Tried some updates, OS and oculus headset. Tried different ports, even a different gpu. I have a titan X pascal inside a new Dell computer. I've seen some responses that if you see "snow" noise or signal degradation, its the hardware but if my setups not enough what is? Looks like it may work for some but its a gamble.

This extension cable has worked for me as intended. I've read a lot of reviews stating it's hit and miss, but I have not experienced any issues.

This is just the thing to get if you are looking for an easy way to disconnect your rift from your computer for any reason. Recommended.

I purchased this thinking it would be a nice easy extension for my Oculus. I was wrong. I plugged it in, sound worked, but only a black screen in the headset. I tried different ports, I tried multiple reboots, I tried having it be the only thing plugged in, no display at all. I have not been impressed with Insignia products recently and unfortunately this hasn't changed my opinion.

Been reading about problems with extending the oculus HDMI without a converter and this one seemed to do the trick just fine!!!

it didnt work for me. probably too long to get sufficient power. maybe it works on certain pcs. but not mine. i could maybe change something or get an adapter i guess and get it to work. but it sure doesnt work out of the box. says extend your rift , but all it does when i plug it up is make the rift not work. took it out and rift works fine. it doesnt work.

You have to have one of these for a good experience with Oculus, otherwise you are simply too close to your surroundings.

preforms as it is intended too, I would sooner try it then doubt it.

I was a little worried after reading some reviews. But, this cable works great for me. Highly recommended!

Need a extension for my Rift setup and this works very well. No problems to report after much use.

I had high hopes for this cable. It was long enough and priced low enough. This cable does not work with my Oculus Rift. I tried wiggling the cable without any luck. Not even a glitch like it was attempting to work. It is also very stiff and not very flexible. It tugged and pulled on all the other cables.

No signal loss, works as expected. Perfect for extending the distance from my PC while Rifting

I dont have smart tv so i used this extension to connect my cellphone to tv and its great.

Though this product wasn't officially listed with Oculus support, it works flawlessly.

The length was ideal for getting more room scale. BUT, it would not run my occulus rift at all. No picture or sound. My usb ports are all ran off the motherboard so it might been a lack of power to them. For the price it was worth a shot. I kept them to try a powered 3.0 in the future.

Gives you plenty of length so you can move around.

works well.. useful for extending your VR headset range in a larger play area.

Wanted 2 extend the distance that I had for virtual reality works great
