The cable extends my playing field. Giving me more room t play my games.

Just what was needed to gain the extra length to have a larger play area,

The cables are well made and the perfect length to extend the Rift headset, but did not work with an ASUS G11CD-B13 computer. Power is getting to the headset but it does not activate when you put it on. I will split the pair of cables and re-purpose them.

Not overly expensive and it works perfectly with oculus rift.

Works for both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Very satisfied.

I was really looking to extend my rift cables but I kept having display problems and after I did a little reading I found out you can’t extend the hdmi on the rift unless you use a really good cable.

I bought this for my Oculus Rift but didn't work. It seems to be a random chance if it does and doesn't work. I don't think it is the cable's fault, but the return was easy.

on my 3rd. they dont work. or if they do its only for a short time. they aren the right type of hdmi, (speculating).. horrible product

No video what so ever on the Oculus rift. The HDMI side did not function properly

I've been trying for months to find a pair of extension cables that would work with my Oculus Rift with no luck. Took a gamble and tried these. First try and they did not work. My HMD has always been plugged into a USB 2.0 port and has worked fine. I switch to a USB 3 port and still didnt work until after i rebooted. Then, viola! It finally worked. I have a GeForce 1070. Try rebooting after changing usb ports and/or plugging in the extension cable if you are having issues. The bad news? The second set I bought for my son's setup does not work no matter which usb ports I use. He has a GeForce 970 and plenty of usb slots and power to spare. Going to try an HDMI repeater between the extension cable and HMD cable to see if that works. Very strange how finicky the Rift is when it comes to extension cables.

Make sure that you are only using a single extender. My case (NZXT S340 Elite) has a front panel HDMI cable via a 4 foot built in extender. I couldn't use it with this adapter, I had to plug directly into the back of my motherboard and GPU. Most likely a power delivery issue, and a physical limitation of HDMI and USB more than a problem with the product. Only took off one star because the cable is really thick and hard to route. I got it pinned to the floor by my desk eventually, but a more flexible material would have been better for this application.

I just got the cable, so I haven't tested it too extensively, but it works great for me so far. I am using an AsRock Pro4s Motherboard with a Gigabyte GTX 1070. I am running 2 sensors + the rift. Most issues are probably with power draw, so spread out your usb devices as much as possible and disable windows usb power management. In any case, it does work well for me, so give it a shot since you can easily return it if it doesn't work for you. If anyone wants me to test anything or provide some pics, let me know. I'll update this review if I encounter any issues.

Works great with my Rift. Didn't require an HDMI repeater for my personal setup, but my brother-in-law who also bought the rift during the recent sale did need the repeater. After helping him troubleshoot the infamous audio only, no video, issue we found that a HDMI repeater fixed the video issue for him and allowed the cable to function as intended. Not the fault of the cable itself but the weakened signal caused by the length of the cable.

I will say this works perfectly, but I did have to add an additional item in to the mix to get it working. This is not the fault of the product, rather my setup. With my EVGA (vr ready?) 980TI card I have to use a Display Port adapter to HDMI otherwise the signal was not strong enough from the card. None of this is the fault of the cable, it's all dependent on your system. The product itself works beautifully.

I bought this fully well knowing it was very hit or miss based on previous reviews. Didn't work for me with my Gigabyte GTX 1070, random video blackouts. Just go in knowing that it may not work, and that Best Buy has a good returns policy. Construction quality and packaging was good, but it wasn't meant to be.

Works well with Oculus Rift CV1. Running 1.5 Super Sampling using Oculus Debug tool, and performance monitoring indicates no perceivable increase on input lag using this cable (averaging 19 MS for me). Currently using with RX Vega 64 without issue. I purchased 2 additional cables for friends without hesitation.
