Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the long battery life and the excellent value for the price of these AA batteries. Positive feedback also mentions the generally good performance and convenient packaging, which is sometimes repurposed for storage. Periodically these go on sale for $6.99 for 48. At that price it's a steal! As a father of 3 boys under the age of 10, I know that EVERYTHING requires batteries! You can't have enough on hand! I have went the rechargable route and they are expensive and don't last as long. These are comparable to the leading brands as far as length of life. Imo if they are close they are worth it. Buy these skip the name brands.

I have been buying the Insignia AA and AAA batteries for several years and have had no issues. I buy a pack every Christmas for remotes, game controllers and everything else that needs batteries. They have a good run and good shelf life. Always good to have them on hand because someone is sure to forget batteries for Christmas toys. The 48 packs are a great value especially when on sale.

Great Long lasting battery! the price was great too. I use these in battery operated lights in closets and so far so good. Other batteries have died before these ones did, but could be related to the amount of use the closet got at the time. The lights turn on when you open the door.

These batteries are a steal at the $6.99/$7.99 price for the deal of the day. They last long, although I need to test them side by side against Energizer/Duracell. But for the price I can’t complain. Whenever I see these I try to buy them because of the price. I haven’t experienced them leaking or a bad batch which is good. Overall, they have done the job well for microphones, Christmas toys, XBox One Controllers, TV remote controllers, etc.

Love these batteries they last a long time and are very affordable. I order them and get them delivered right to my house. I then store them in my Battery Daddy for future use. You're getting a quality battery for a reasonable price without paying for a name!!!

My wife needed batteries for all her Christmas lights and decorations that light up. I bought these and they not only lasted along time some of them are still going so they have lasted a lot longer than many other batteries. I would highly recommend these for the value and length of life they give you.

Bought these batteries on sale. Figured there wasn't anything to lose as the price was better than what was offered at other retailers for their brand batteries. So far they've worked great and I see no considerable difference between any other brand batteries I use in my Xbox Controllers or my flashlights. Highly recommended, especially if found on sale.

    Best battery deal around!

This is hands down the best battery deal around! You get 60 AA batteries for a little over $6. If my math is right, that's 10 cents per battery! I have a year's supply now for $6! I haven't used them for that long yet, so I can't vouch for how long they last, but they are alkaline which lasts longer than the average budget type. I will update after I have used them for awhile.

The Insignia batteries are a great value. like having the 48 pack so I know I will never run out. I haven't compared directly with one of the name brand batteries (mainly use for remotes, etc) but I haven't seen any issues in quality and they last about the same as the name brand batteries.

I purchased a box of 48 AA and another box of 48 AAA Insignia batteries when Best Buy had them at a really good price as part of the deals of the day sales. They are long lasting batteries. For being so cheap price-wise, they are definitely not cheap quality-wise. I would definitely recommend these batteries even at the regular price!

I’ve been buying these batteries for years now, usually when they are a “deal of the day.” They save me a lot of money, especially when you can buy 48 for around $8. I really cannot tell any significant difference between these batteries and other more expensive brand name alkaline batteries. I’ve never had a battery leakage issue either.

At a sale price, they're great. Good for low consumption items like remotes, thermostats, etc. Drain pretty fast on higher-use items like game controllers, but can't complain - they still seem like a decent deal for the price. Most importantly, I've had no leakage issues. (But maybe they don't last long enough to start leaking...)

I have lots of devices at home that use AA batteries. For instance, the remotes for our game console go through batteries very quickly. I buy these Insignia batteries, 48 pack, and I do not have to worry about buying batteries for a while. These batteries last for a descent amount of time and are significantly cheaper than alternatives.

I use them primarily for my xbox controller. They last in my opinion longer than Energizer and Duracell at a fraction of the price. I only get them when they are on sale and I stock up! My friends are now buying them too, because they didnt believe me at first how well they do holding the charge! A must buy!

These are awesome for the price. The large pack is awesome and allows us to go a very long time between battery purchases. One thing that I think is underrated about these battery packs is the packaging. They allow you to get a few out easily without having to tear open something to the point that batteries are constantly falling out.

I'll have to admit this isn't the first time i have purchased "INSIGNIA" brand batteries, but based on my experience with the first time around, you can't go wrong they have a decent shelf life and they work just fine for my uses : remote controls, flashlights,my computer mouse, etc. I do recommend these batteries.

I purchased these when they were on Best Buy's "Deal of the Day". I use these batteries in my trail cameras, and am not disappointed. They are as good as any big name battery I've used in the past, and once you consider the price, become much better in my opinion. I get the about the same amount of usage out of these as the others, so I'm happy with them.

Best Buy periodically blows out large packs of batteries for fantastic prices, and I picked up this set of forty-eight (48) Double-A batteries for what a pack of ten (10) batteries might cost at Big Lots or a discount grocery store. Aesthetically nice, and worked great in the portable lights and small electronics I needed them for. Good stuff.

These batteries work great and last as long as name brand batteries at a fraction of the cost. They come in a handy container that holds all the batteries, but once you start using them, they collapse in the container. Would buy these again, once I use them up, which might be a while, because it comes with a lot of batteries.
