This is a well-constructed device, though the base is fairly large, The prongs which plug into your wall outlet fold, a bonus, and each of the seven adapters fits into a small rubber strip, to keep them together for storage. The adapters fit quite snugly, into the device, and with a voltage selector, it should work as advertised on a number of different devices.

Our car chewed through a handheld vacuum cord so we just needed something to continue to charge it. This works just fine for the price, have to make sure it's in right as it's not quite the same as the one we had, but It charges so it works!

I am looking for a versatile AC adapter: several size connectors, different voltage setting. I am lucky to find this Insignia product from Best Buy. Well built, easy to use, versatile. Buying experience: excellent via Best Buy.

It was easy to use and worked perfectly for what I needed.

I required a charger for two different devices with different connectors. The SC adapter I purchased from Bestbuy met my requirement at a very reasonable cost. There are 6 different plugs and settings which makes it very versatile.

I bought this for the purpose of powering a portable CD player with AC current and to cut down on the use of batteries. When I received it, I discovered that it has five additional connectors in addition to the one that I needed. This is very handy and I look forward to getting many years of use from it.

I was thrilled to find this at Best Buy. Needing a charger for a camcorder which is way outmoded, I thought my options were nil. This charger has the voltage and connector options- there really isn't a lot this universal AC adapter won't power.

Bought this for a lost plug that powered a baby swing. One of the adapters worked and the swing was off and running. Bonus for getting it on sale. Worked as needed. Can't speak to longevity yet, but a suitable solution.

This unit only works with Center Positive (+) which 90% of all A/C adapters are. Many adapter tips and voltage selections. Just make sure you don't have the odd ball device that is Center Negative (-).

Back when I purchased this, I was looking for an adapter for my laptop when my original stopped working. This was exactly what I was looking for. The options you have are bound to fit your laptop no matter the model. And you can't really beat the price either.

During a cross country road trip, stopped and purchased this for the portable DVD player. Worked well, but would have been incredibly helpful to have a car/lighter adapter as part of the kit.

This product is a replacement for a failed unit from years gone by. I was unsure if I would be able to use my external HDD case with my outdated, small-capacity internal HDD on my Dell OptiPlex GX260, (yes, you read that correctly), again. The GX260 is used primarily as my Diablo and Diablo 2 gaming system. Don't laugh; I love those games. My internal HDD is nearing capacity and this unit will power the external HDD with the hopes of making additional room on the internal HDD. I may just move Diablo, Diablo 2, and their expansion packs, (Hellfire and Lord of Destruction, respectively), to the external HDD and perform a fresh install of Windows XP on the GX260.

So pleased. The Insignia adapter did exactly what I needed to power my computer speakers (thanks to Best Buy staff connecting the correct plug). After that, I was able to use another included plug to charge my electric screwdriver (I had lost the charger). Thanks Best Buy and Insignia!

Its a good versatile adapter. My only issue is the adapter wire coming out of the power brick to the computer needs to have a more robust connection.

this charger could be a travel or replacement charger, works with a number of gadgets, it is a slow charger, make sure the plugs do work with your equipment, it turned out to be a life saver for me, happy with my purchase.

I had never seen this device before and had several of them from Radio Shack but since they have gone away and I need a couple more I got in the car and went to Best Buy to see if they had something at least similar. Turns out this one is EVERY BIT as good, if not better, than the ones I have from Radio Shack. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that it is not switchable polarity like the Radio Shack ones are but since it had the correct polarity for my devices that was not an issue for me. I could be wrong but I suspect that maybe the reason for it is that few if anybody actually makes devices with a negative middle post.

This is a great product it works very well and adapts to almost everything in the household it charges my daughters new InnoTab very well and it also works well for other things that we have in the house as well I would recommend this product to many others

it would be nice to have a dedicated voltage rather than a variable but alas it is challenging to find such a rare animal now a days so this was my next best option. it seems to resolve my issue with the transmitter since the original one started to fluctuate voltage wise and my signal was compromised. I would suggest if one is having 'troubles' with devices and an older transformer it would be a good starting point to check the power source. I had been having 'issues' for months and thought it was a wifi interference thing but it ended up being the 9 volt transformer had gone to 11.7 volts..... I trust this one will last the 6 years the old did.
