No, they don't work with the case, but I don't think there's any solution for that..but they are fairly easy to install and remove. A must have and definite grab if you use airpods for exercising

it ok make ears a little sore

I brought the ear plug cover to go over the ear plug that did nor work good at all. When you put the ear plug back in the charger you have to remove the cover . That the only fault that I found in them.
