The tips do not fit AirPods gen 3, they will only fit gens 1 & 2. Not sure why the Bestbuy site recommends these accessories for AirPods gen 3. If you have gen 3 AirPods you won’t be able to use the tips.

It provided me with extra grip and stability with the Airpods so it was of use when I go snowboarding. They aren't needed unless you're going to be super active/moving around a lot but if you want extra grip/stability, I recommend this product.
