Don't buy the Insignia all in one travel converter

Actually it hardly worked. It would charge for awhile and not give a full charge on my iPhone. I had to use a friends charger in order to keep phone working. It was heavy and not worth the purchase.

Three prong only takes three prong

I was in Europe and burned up my Canon battery Charger and one battery before I realized the issue. I read the encluded booklet and it does not say that you cannot plug in regular plugs to the three prong. Very disappointed with this product. A coworker with me in Europe also bought the converter. He burned up his charger and a battery as well. BestBuy selling substandard productes cose us both nearly $100 plus the useless converter $40.

Bought 2, both failed after 1-2 uses - DO NOT BUY

Both of them failed, one after just one use and the other after 2 uses. My travel companions and I had to share two adapters (different brand) between the 4 of us and charge our phones in the rental car. I wish I hadn't bought these - in fact I took the same model adapter with me 2 years ago on a cruise and it failed on that trip, too. I fogured it was a fluke, but shame on me for buying it again. I just hope Best Buy will accept them as a return, I want my $70 back!

A plain adapter worked fine. Converter provided no power.

Handy device for EU travel

The small size made it not take up space in my luggage. It was a handy adapter/converter as I moved from cruise ship to land bound hotel space and still did a job. I highly recommend this.

The actual plug part is really hard to plug things into. Didn’t realize the first night my phone charger wasn’t plugged in enough and I woke up to a dead phone. The converter setting for hair dryers and flat/curling irons gets crazy hot! It made me nervous so I went and bought a cheap hair dryer to use instead.
