It was too bulky & heavy so would not stay plugged into outlets in Ireland or England. Thankfully I was able to borrow outlet adapter from the hotels & BnB where we stayed.

Perfect adapter/converter for cruise cabins

I suspect that is more so an issue with the hair dryer than then plug converter as I tested it with various other appliances with UK voltage and had no issue. It is a solid appliance however, it is rather overpriced.

Voltage Converter OR Plug Adapter

Won’t need voltage conversion for anything else so love that it can just act as a plug adapter with USB built in. Nice having all the plugs available on the device. Nothing to loose.
