We did have to read the instructions (!) in order to figure out the various slots and sliding buttons, but once we did that, it did what was expected, and we were able to charge phones and laptops. Good purchase.

We ended up only using it as a plug converter for items that could handle the voltage. It makes a weird buzzing noise when it is converting the voltage.

It didn't work. Quite simply, it didn't work. I tried it again in Germany, and the same thing happened. This was a waste of money and something I won't buy again.

Need to return this but can’t

Wanted to return it but it was past 2 weeks. Definitely buying from Amazon next time or anyone else with a longer return window

FIRE HAZARD

It got extremely hot and started smoking and melted one of my chargers. I wasn't charging anything crazy, just one of my small portable lights for my camera. The charger started melting and so did the Travel Converter. I'm lucky I started to smell the burning before it escalated. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. IT IS FAULTY.

After plugging my cell phone into this converter, my cell phone turned on and off on and off on and off. It’s like it would start charging, but then it would stop again.
