I definitely recommend you not buying this or anything made by Insignia. I have had multiple devices fail and I will NEVER buy a product made by them again. I wish I could have returned it and got my money back but lesson learned.

It is made by Best Buy and sold as "Insignia". Thet refused a return bacause I was gone for more than 14 days even though I never used the product. Don't buy this converter if you need to use it more than 10 minutes. Best Buy is not very reliable to shop at and doesn't back their products. Buyer beware.

Our last trip to Europe we had an adapter that fried my curling iron. I was not going to go thru that again! I was informed that what I needed was a converter. One of your associates was so helpful to actually directed right the right item and really saved our trip to Italy. Thank youBest Buy!

About $100 worth of chargers had to be replaced when I got back. It runs too much power through them, the charging bricks literally burned up internally. It was too hot to even touch. The USB-A ports provide a much lower charge, but it's way too slow. It took over 12 hours to fully recharge my 10,000mAh battery through one of the USB ports. Ridiculous.

Dangerously faulty

Sparks on the first day and then it would only work in converter mode. Then it started getting really hot and clicking when we tried to use it. Also it’s too big for UK outlets. The cheap adapters in every airport shop work a lot better.
