We took a chance and purchased this adaptor/converter, for our daughter's upcoming, 10-day visit to Spain and Portugal. According to her, the New Year's Eve fireworks in Madeira were something she'll never forget. She also said the Insignia adaptor/converter was something else she'll never forget. She roomed with 3 other girls who came to the island less-than-adequately prepared. The adaptor/converter saved the day and the vacation.

Power Converter did not work as expected

I used this power converter during my trip to Italy. When I tried to use the charger to charge my iPad and iPhone, I could hear buzz sound. But nothing worked. The USB outputs worked.

I purchased a ten dollar insignia that works way better with all the same plugs.
