We took a chance and purchased this adaptor/converter, for our daughter's upcoming, 10-day visit to Spain and Portugal. According to her, the New Year's Eve fireworks in Madeira were something she'll never forget. She also said the Insignia adaptor/converter was something else she'll never forget. She roomed with 3 other girls who came to the island less-than-adequately prepared. The adaptor/converter saved the day and the vacation.

I purchased a ten dollar insignia that works way better with all the same plugs.

It was so easy to use and charged my iPhone and a second in record time compared to an old converter that we took on our trip to Europe. Had no issues with it at all and is rugged, did not suffer any consequences after dropping it several times.
