Defected item.

I tried everything and the main charger flickers on and off continuously. The USB ports work fine though. I know Insignia makes great quality items so I'm hoping mine was just a defect.

Insignia Travel Converter Works Well

It is small enough to fit in my laptop bag and I plan to use it for a long time on my other international trips.

It is a built in converter as well as adapter. It has every region's outlet adapters built into it which makes packing it much easier. Build quality is plastic and feels sturdy, but I feel if dropped too hard it could damage it.
