Prongs for plug ins are too short to hold this heavy product in an outlet. Italy requires a three prong plug, but this one only has two making the connection weak. Worst product I have seen in years.

Outlets typically have a switch next to them. This device shuts off that switch when trying to plug it in. Simply a design flaw. Do not buy.

Makes my laptop turn off and on and on and off

It makes my laptop flash on and off and off and on. I cannot use the laptop here in the UK. It also does not charge the battery. I will return it when I get back to the US and will need to come up with another alternative solution while I am here in business. Awful experience.

I tried both options and it would not charge my phone. On converter it spazzed out switching on and off rapidly, on adapter it would not charge. Also had no ground.
