It not only overheated, but then stopped working. I eventually went out and purchased cables to adapt the power from US to EUR power. Don't waste your time purchasing this product. It was very sub par.

After it seemingly burned out, the power would pulse on and off for anything plugged into it. Bummer as it seemed like a good design at least.
