Do not buy--shorted out on first use

It would not charge my dual-voltage electronics at all--even those that matched the output requirements--when used as an adapter. (Using it as a converter on dual-voltage electronics risks burning up the converter _and_ your phone/laptop/etc.). The first time I used it as a converter to charge an old single-voltage iPad, the converter "popped," hummed like it was arcing, and overheated quickly. Unplugged immediately; checked settings; plugged it back it and it was dead. Couldn't even use it as an adapter at that point. Complete waste of money; I'll go back to carrying my bigger converter/adapter by a different manufacturer.

It didn't work in either place for recharging our iPhone and Android phones. I do not recommend this product or any like it from Best Buy because if it doesn't work and you're gone for more than 2 weeks, the company won't refund your money.

The product after inserting into the outlet did not work at all. I did not even use the converter mode, as I was just trying to power up my laptop and it failed miserably. Totally fed up with the quality. As I will be on a business trip for a month, I cannot even return this product anymore. Pure waste of money. Won't recommend buying this, especially if you are going to use in India.

The work-around was to charge an external battery via the USB port.

Stopped Working after 5 days

On day five the product just changes for one second and powers off the next. I let this cycle continue all night and still has no power on my laptop. i only used this to charge my phone and laptop. I am abroad so I can't get a refund.
