I liked this Insignia boombox and like it so much I came back and bought another. I was having trouble with static in my old boombox. Now I have clear sound. This mdel can also save 10 radio stations making it much easier to change amongst them, esp. going between AM & FM. It also has DVD and cassette players. Compact & Useful.

Pros: -Great sound quality. -Mostly very sturdy construction. Cons: -The front buttons (the main ones you'll be pressing when you're not listening to a cassette) are very small and thus hard to read if your eyes aren't good, and they take more effort to press than you'd expect. -Bluetooth stopped wanting to connect to my phone after a few months. -CD player lid feels relatively delicate and will open with just the slightest accidental press.

This is just what I needed to play cds and my extensive collection of tapes. The bluetooth feature is a super feature. The sound is excellent and the unit is easily portable to work locations.

I like the versatility of this boombox, especially since it has a cassette function. The sound is really good coming from such small speakers. The sound is even better using earphones. It is compact and easy to carry around.

The product is versatile and works well. It is easy to operate and sounds good for the price. Being able to stream, listen to cassette or compact disc, is a real positive attribute.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad. He and my mom get plenty of use out this boombox, playing their old cassettes and cds. It has good sound and loud enough to fill a room or listen out in the patio. It did take a few try’s to connect to the bluetooth but has worked perfectly since. I’m completely happy with my purchase.

It is durable, portable and longlasting. The sound amplifiers are great and the features my most favorite part is the Bluetooth, I can connect from phone via to play music. It has multiple options I couldn't believe I can still see a cassette tape player! I came in to buy portable CD player but got more.

I use this in my home gym/ workshop when I want to free my ears from my headphones, or want to hear talk radio, blue tooth my phone, or listen to CD's that I haven't burned to my player/ computer. LOL this replaces my Sony CD/tape/radio I got as a birthday present for 8th grade in......1992! It's tape player, CD, and sometimes 1 out of 2 speakers no longer worked so Finally it is time for something new....no worries, Sony is heading for the Shed/ man cave#2. Plus: Features straight forward, has all new and old tech, battery backup and audio.input, blue tooth, etc...pretty much everything. Minus: pretty poor audio quality.. Not even a hint of bass, no bass/tone/ running. As a result, I think.this is about $10-15 overpriced. However, others less expensive are ranked lower and you really need to jump up quite a bit in price to do better. Verdict: Still.a good buy if you want a tape player, CD, audio input, and Bluetooth all in one but don't need this to be the flagship of your house.

I needed a tape deck to check cassette tapes from some years ago and found this one. It is a great boombox for me...the sound is so good (I wasn't expecting such a good sound). It fits perfectly in my Baker's rack in the kitchen. Thanks very much!

It isn't the sort of thing you'll pass down to your children, most likely, but I bought it to play some legacy media while camping for a week and it did exactly what I wanted it to and did it well. Sound quality is about what you'd expect and it's plenty loud, and the bluetooth worked just fine the couple of times I tried it. I've mostly been using it as a radio lately - very old school - and it's a friendly little box.

I am very pleased with this boom box. Sound quality is surprisingly good and Bluetooth connection was easy. Unit has CD player, radio, and a cassette deck that plays tapes and records from disc or radio. Lightweight, which is great for portability. Seems well made and should last a long time if not abused. Price was nice as well!

The sound is clear and great both for the cassette player and cd player and radio too! The labels are hard to read; but easy to remember after the first time! I love that I can take it with me anywhere in my house and plug it in to listen to music or my teaching tapes whilst I do dishes etc.! Very happy with it!

Bought this “Boom Box” because I had cassettes I needed to listen to and this delivered a clear sound sound. Also love being able to play my CD’s again. Have had no issues. Definitely recommend.

I’m old school and have many cassette tapes. Now I’m able to listen to my tapes without any problem and of course, CDs. I’m one very happy camper. My player is light weight and the sound is enjoyable. Yes! I would recommend this player any day

Need a device to play CDs, cassettes, AM/FM radio? This convenient "boombox" does it all. AM reception is not great unless near window but great sound overall.

I can finally listen to my CDs & cassettes again. Sound is clear. Item is not heavy to lift and move.

I bought this for my grandmother so she could listen to her cd’s - it is simple enough for her to use and the sound quality is better than expected in her house. A cassette player is unheard of today, but didn’t try it out - nice feature, might have to buy one for myself and see if my cassettes are still good.

It works and it’s the only thing that it does. I don’t have a cassette, but the CD player works fine. The radio works fine. Just an average little boombox.
