As a Gen Xer, I love this boombox. It has all of my previous music playing technologies as well as bluetooth to connect to my current playlists. Cassette player works well. CD player works well. Radio works well. Bluetooth connectivity is fabulous! This is a wonderful boombox, well worth what I paid. I am very happy!

It works and it’s the only thing that it does. I don’t have a cassette, but the CD player works fine. The radio works fine. Just an average little boombox.

I bought this for my grandmother so she could listen to her cd’s - it is simple enough for her to use and the sound quality is better than expected in her house. A cassette player is unheard of today, but didn’t try it out - nice feature, might have to buy one for myself and see if my cassettes are still good.

I love my multi-functioning stereo boombox with bluetooth. I can carry it easily anywhere in my home; the sound is shexcellent, and I can take it with me anywhere I go because it can be battery operated. Insignia is an outstanding product. Try it; I know you willIT's love it.

The boombox was intact and has been working well so far it has pretty good sound and the volume is pretty good too.

Was lookingfor for a portable CD music player. Small like old Stallman CD players. Hard for me to find. BEST BUY had off all things, this bookis box radio/CD and cassette player. Wow! Thanks to a store agent, who's name I can't remember. But because listened to me, he said,how about a boom box? I said they make those? Yes and Best Buy carries them. The rest is history. My history. The old days. Thanks to that salesman. Oh yeh. The radio works great! Great sound. Nice controls. A/C or battery power. Looks great on my work bench. R

The unit is portable, has multiple functions, and has good sound quality. It’s been hard to find a unit like this that is not costly. I use it for providing music for church meetings and it works well for that.

Great value! The control buttons are a little confusing, as they are not well marked, but it works great, and is an awesome value for the price! Sound quality works for what I need, which is Music in the Garage while I am working.

Incredible value that plays all types of media-CDs, radio, cassettes, and bluetooth. But keep expectations realistic on the sound quality. You can't adjust the base for example. It's very lightweight too.

The sound is ok. The buttons are hard to push. It needs more than one AM band and one FM band - should have two of each. CDs are hard to get out. Ok for the price. Was hoping it was much better than it is.

yes the cd player makes a noise when you play but the radio has great reception on my boat. the push button to change stations works very well. it is far better than the standard channel rotation which gets worse over time. it was a no brainer for me since i had $ 55.00 in rewards to use.

Works fine for playing CD and tapes. Buttons bit complicated but once learn functions easy to use

This is a good little cd player for what I need it for. Sound is crisp and clean. Only thing I don’t like is that you have to snap the cd’s in to play which causes more wear on them.

Excellent value! Very lightweight, but more importantly, the features meet all of my needs. It has a cassette & CD player and the FM radio is high quality. The volume/acoustics are great and the portability is a win-win. I'm so glad I selected this item and the price ($40) was unbeatable. I will get a lot of use out of this boombox. Haven't used the Bluetooth yet, but I'm sure it will exceed the standards. Great investment!

I'm enjoying the AM/FM radio portable CD player. I have been unable to play my CD's for two years because my old Sony player was broken. I wish I had brought the Insignia Boombox sooner. It is priced right, portable and the sound is great. I love it!

I bought this for my grandma as a Christmas gift and she really enjoys it. It was easy to figure out for the most part and she loves being able to listen to her CDs. Good sound quality too.

So far, it works fine. I bought it to play both CDs and cassettes, I have tons of both and no place to play them since we went with streaming services. SO far so good; no jammed cassettes, all the CD's were playable. It's a little light on the bass and with no tone controls, sounds muddy on some stuff which were not great recordings. But it's loud enough, no discernable wow and flutter, and everything works. Haven't tried the radio.

It has nice sound. it is easy to use. It is Portable, easy to carry.

I can honestly say that this insignia boom box is superior. And the price is exceptionally reasonable. I bought my wife a compact CD player last year and we had continual problems with it, until it eventually stopped working altogether. It cost three times what this insignia cost. I bought her another CD player and it also proved to be problematic. Then I decided to go to Best Buy which is right up the road from us. That's where I found the insignia.
