I can honestly say that this insignia boom box is superior. And the price is exceptionally reasonable. I bought my wife a compact CD player last year and we had continual problems with it, until it eventually stopped working altogether. It cost three times what this insignia cost. I bought her another CD player and it also proved to be problematic. Then I decided to go to Best Buy which is right up the road from us. That's where I found the insignia.

The size is perfect for me. Easy to use and easy to take on travel. The sounds is great.

Nice compact and versatile CD, Cassette player and radio at a very reasonable price, made even better with my REWARDS POINTS! Print on the control buttons could be a little bit more highlighted. Sad that it did not come with the batteries or a recommended item while making the purchase. Didn't need an extended warrantee on a <$50 item, but batteries might have been a good thing to point out.

This was a pleasant surprise. The cassette deck is stereo something hard to find in todays decks. It also records radio and cds. This item has a Bluetooth receiver that's easy to connect. The unit sounds good and works well in portable situations

The stereo boombox is just the right size, sounds great, very portable, and can be plugged or run on batteries. I have searched everywhere and Best Buy had this radio that was perfect for my needs. I take it everywhere with me and the size is perfect for picnics and outdoor listening. My children love it since it can play FM and CD’s.

Overall we're glad to have this little boombox to play some music in the garage but we're also glad we didn't pay full price. There was a mess up in the store with the price tag and for what we paid we decided to keep it. The speakers have a decent sound but we're disappointed at how hard the buttons are to use. It just makes it feel cheaply made.

Purchased this for my mom. It’s very easy to use which is a plus for her. Has good sound and does not take up a lot of space.

Like the CD player, AM/FM radio and Bluetooth features. Cassette player, not so much. I'm gradually replacing all of them anyway.

Good sound , can use three different kinds of device. Easy to use and install into a room. Uses batteries so it can be transported into different rooms without worrying about it dying.

This was an Open Box item certified in Excellent Condition. It arrived in a small box that was very badly battered and banged up, which had been placed in a larger box for protection. A piece in the front, was separated from the rest of the Boombox. So, I had to snap it together. At this time, the CD player, Cassette player and AM/FM Radio all work. The sound quality on the Radio AM channels is poor, but the Radio FM channels are ok. Have only tested it once, so hopefully it continues to work.

Needed cd player. Had Bose radio and CD player and returned 3 times because CD kept on breaking about every year. Bose was good in replacing. This cd works well and the sound is good for the price.

Purchased this so I could listen to CDs and older cassettes. For a portable electronic device at a reasonable price the quality is very good. The radio tunes clearly and the CD player is good as well. I also placed an old cassette tape and it plays perfectly. Have not tried cassette record function

Bought a Sony radio on Best Buy for my grandmother. That radio ended up being a dud, as the CD player stopped working after the first day and the radio wouldn’t turn on 80% of the time. Returned that radio and bought this radio by Insignia. For the price, I would say that this radio works really well. The sound quality is pretty good and the CD player actually works, something we couldn’t say about the Sony radio. My grandmother has had this radio for over a month and there’s been no issues or complaints so far. There’s not many radios on Best Buy that have CD players so if you’re looking for that, you can’t go wrong with this radio.

Sleek design, easy to use, light to carry about. Just what I was looking for.

the boom box is satisfactory in quality of tone. too many unnecessary buttons to get it to perform. also the carry handle is somewhat awkward and unwieldy. the cd player is easy to use. very satisfied with its performance. i was shocked at the price of the batteries. their were no other choices for these as apparently the preppers bought up most of the stock.

This Insignia boombox was ordered by and delivered to the Best Buy store of my choice on time in perfect condition. Best Buy kept me apprised of the progress in filling my order. The price was very reasonable. The boombox is working perfectly and producing excellent sound. It is very userfriendly and the manual is well written and useful and does not contain any technical jargon. The boombox, being almost weightless, is very easy to carry from one location to another. By the way, I have in the past purchased Insignia items which have served me well. They lasted a very long time until I finally wore them out and replaced them with newer Insignia products.
