Very nice compact cd player. Sound quality is good. I would purchase again

Good sound , can use three different kinds of device. Easy to use and install into a room. Uses batteries so it can be transported into different rooms without worrying about it dying.

Bought a Sony radio on Best Buy for my grandmother. That radio ended up being a dud, as the CD player stopped working after the first day and the radio wouldn’t turn on 80% of the time. Returned that radio and bought this radio by Insignia. For the price, I would say that this radio works really well. The sound quality is pretty good and the CD player actually works, something we couldn’t say about the Sony radio. My grandmother has had this radio for over a month and there’s been no issues or complaints so far. There’s not many radios on Best Buy that have CD players so if you’re looking for that, you can’t go wrong with this radio.

the boom box is satisfactory in quality of tone. too many unnecessary buttons to get it to perform. also the carry handle is somewhat awkward and unwieldy. the cd player is easy to use. very satisfied with its performance. i was shocked at the price of the batteries. their were no other choices for these as apparently the preppers bought up most of the stock.

This Insignia boombox was ordered by and delivered to the Best Buy store of my choice on time in perfect condition. Best Buy kept me apprised of the progress in filling my order. The price was very reasonable. The boombox is working perfectly and producing excellent sound. It is very userfriendly and the manual is well written and useful and does not contain any technical jargon. The boombox, being almost weightless, is very easy to carry from one location to another. By the way, I have in the past purchased Insignia items which have served me well. They lasted a very long time until I finally wore them out and replaced them with newer Insignia products.

This AM/FM radio Portable CD boombox with bluetooth is a nice size to fit on a chest of drawers. It delivers a nice sound. The bluetooth feature makes it more versatile to use.

Purchased this so I could listen to CDs and older cassettes. For a portable electronic device at a reasonable price the quality is very good. The radio tunes clearly and the CD player is good as well. I also placed an old cassette tape and it plays perfectly. Have not tried cassette record function

My husband loves this! It has great sound and volume and not to big for him to carry to events that he sings at. He loves the fact that it is Bluetooth plus CD & Cassettes!

This was my 2nd purchase of the Insignia Portable CD Boombox. The first one went into my wife's Art Studio, So I purchased a 2nd one from Best Buy. Works Well in my exercise/weight room. I purchased it because I have a couple shelves full of CD's, also a couple large boxes of Cassette Tapes, including all the Time-Life R&R, and songs for the 1950s, 60s, 70,s & Big Band Era, etc. Figure as long as they still play, I'll listen. Did have to read the directions to familiarize myself with the controls before playing; Left a copy of the instructions by the Boombox in case one of the grandkids attempt to turn it on.

A link to the past for listening to cassettes and recording the radio or CD to cassette. For a small package, great sound that projects well. But don't expect big stereo quality. Haven't found another with all these features. Drawback: buttons are hard to push. Worth the price.

Very handy size for on the go people. Radio is am and fm which is good for those who like to keep up on the news. CD works great and the sound is just okay. Not a lot of volume available but so much easier to handle then my old BOOM BOX ! I only wish it had a remote control which is why it didn"t earn 5 stars. Cassette player is handy for those old ( not antique just yet ) favorites from our box of memories.

This CD Boombox is great. Right size, ease of use and has a great sound for both CD and Radio.

Bought this for my wife. She didn't want anything too "high tech" just to listen to her music when she gets ready in the morning. She loves it. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the first one I got made a ticking noise when playing the FM radio. I returned it for another and have not had any more issues. Nice "old school" device, radio, plays CDs and cassettes, as well as, being Bluetooth capable.

This product provides reasonable features and performance for the money. The Bluetooth capability lets you get room-filling sound from a phone. Unlike speakers from the Amazon or Google companies, there is no microphone to surveille your conversation. You can operate it with batteries (six D-cells) or with the AC power cord.

Good volume - easy to use - small enough to not take up a lot of room. Instructions are easy to follow.

Really Great sound quality for an economical CD player. Great Radio reception also.

Over all a good buy, and performer. Minor negative items were hard vs. soft touch buttons and tone control.

I give it 5 stars as it delivers for the amount of money spent. You can only expect so much out of a sub $100 piece of audio equipment. I have used it for a few months with no issues. The small boombox is used in a 2,000 sq ft shop and I have no issues with the available volume levels. It was so nice to acutally buy something at a store and walk out with it the same day.
