This antenna is easy to install. It gets many channels. The picture and sound are good. During bad weather, there are some interferences. I've tried 2 other antennas, but this one was much better. I would recommend this antenna.

I used to own a (classic) HDTV antenna with the two sticks in it, and i won't lie, it did a good job while it lasted. As a resident of Perham Bay in the Bronx, signal is excellent and after performing a search on my TV i was able to find as much as 60 plus channels with my old antenna. However, the only downside was finding signal for main channels like 7 or 11 which are some of my favorite channels. I found this insignia antenna as part of an offer (Amazon stick + the antenna) for $50 dollars, and after reading a few reviews i ordered it in a heartbeat. What can I say, best deal ever, that antenna is amazing. After performing a search on my TV i was able to get as much as 85 channels (no lie), some of them were audio only like radio stations and stuff like that, but finally channels 7 and 11 were available. Pretty easy to install, black on one side, white on the other so you could choose which side would you like better to match your wall. I highly recommend this antenna, specially if you live in a building with open area and strong signal.

I can’t lie that I had my doubts when getting this antenna. I had tried many different antennas before this one, but so far I like it. It picks up just about everything in my area, and it doesn’t have to many issues with dropping signal. Only time it had an issues was with my cat rubbing up against it, to be expected. My only gripe, if you even what to call it that, was how short and awkward the amplifier cable is, and that the power cord splits off from the adapter. It doesn’t really make a deal breaker, it’s just odd. Overall great quality at a great price!

After cutting the cord, but missing out on some network TV specials, I investigated digital antenna options. Based on the reviews here and after speaking with salespeople at my local store, I decided to give this item a try. I'm very happy I did, as it comes as advertised, at least for this person in the tri-state area. As others have pointed out, aiming it in several directions is a great way to ensure you will find the highest number of channels. First, I put it up against a wall facing south. It only picked up 7 channels. I next positioned it facing west near a window. It picked up an additional 9 channels. When I finally put it at the window itself, still facing west, it offered up more than 50 channels, including every local channel I'd had with analog TV or cable, now available again 24/7 for free. The quality of the picture from the major network channels befits my 4K set, and there's minimal interference. Unfortunately, The CW/PIX is the only channel that comes in with consistent digital noise, but I stopped watching that years ago. Additionally, I even received some basic cable TV channels like Ion, CourtTV, Newsy, HSN, Buzzr, as well as PBS channels I'd get from purchasing premium digital cable, like PBS Kids, Create, and World. These channels sometimes also have difficulty and interference at times, but again, they're more of a bonus. I have no hesitations recommending this unit. Glad I finally purchased it.

I've been looking for an antenna that would pull in signals from about 30 miles away. I've tried a number of other non-powered antennas and was not able to get all the local channels. This one pulls most of them in. Price is reasonable and it works well. It's also a unique form factor that is easy to position and blend into the background (one side is black and the other white). Best small, standalone antenna I've tried.

Easy to setup but a pain to keep having to refresh it everytime I have to move the thing. It picks up the local channels so that's a good thing. So far have had no issues except refreshing the signal once in a while.

I was very surprised at the channels I received from just this digital antenna. The only thing I haven’t figured out is do I actually need a converter box to get more and better reception. The picture is awesome but like this past storms though I had a picture it seemed to breakup then reform, never lost the audio & there was not any static. All in all I’m totally satisfied with this product and have recommended to friends. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars so far on cable bills, which was steadily going up, when I hit the $200. I knew I had to find an alternative an this is definitely it.

This antenna is top notch for the price. I’ve been using it for a little less than a year and the only time I’ve had issues with channel reception is briefly during thunderstorms. 95% of the time, my picture is crystal clear in HD and I get tons of channel options: Highly recommend buying this if you’re looking for an inexpensive, reliable TV antenna

Clear instructions and valuable information about accessing stations made set up easy. The package offers two ways of positioning the antenna--on a wall or window with adhesive or with a stand. Make sure you commit to using the adhesive, because once you fasten the antenna with the adhesive dots, its stuck for eternity. The coaxial cable is short and narrow. Overall, a good antenna for the money.

Pleasantly Surprised; Beat Out More Expensive Ones

This antenna in NYC works great. Of course it’s all dependent on placement and your individual location. In my situation, it beat out a more expensive curved antenna. The price and performance ratio is outstanding (and I’m really nit picky) Key pointers: If you have a long cable run, the amplifier should be installed closest to the antenna, not the TV. Adjusting the wire coming from the antenna will also help with reception. I have mine in a loose coil. The amplifier really helps stabilize the signal. I live near elevated trains and my signal no longer gets choppy with each passing train. Another standout is the lightweight of the antenna AND the wiring itself. The weight makes it a breeze to play around with and hang up w/o fear of it falling and breaking. The lightweight wire helps tremendously with placement and reception. Other antennas have a rigid and thick coaxial able making it harder to install. Also, playing around with the malleable wire helped me to bring in an extra 8 channels. Only possible downside is the sensitivity of the wire placement, but be patient and may work out well for you too.

At a time when funds are tight, I was looking for an inexpensive way to receive several local TV Channels without the cost of cable. I spoke with a rep at Best Buy and he was quite helpful in helping me to select the product I needed. I purchased the Insignia™ - Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna for approximately $26. (One time charge) No subscriptions! It was extremely easy to install and to my surprise, I was able to receive 77 local channels and nearly all were crystal clear! Some, I didn't even know existed! Needless to say, I did the HAPPY DANCE! Thank you Insignia!

I found this amplified Antenna to work very well. It pulled in stations with towers 20 miles away. The resultant picture quality was/is very good. This brand of antenna was a bit more expensive than some competitors, but I paid extra because I had never done an Antenna hook up to a smart HD TV before and wanted the extra customer support that Insignia promised to provide. At any rate, the instructions provided with the antenna were good enough that it worked great right out of the box. So, I'm happy with the product, but it would have been nice if it had cost a little less.

Can't believe we put up with the cable company as long as we did. We were paying around $50 a month for basic cable. They raised the rates, yet again, so we decided to cancel and look into other options. There are so many streaming services out there but we didn't want to pay monthly for basic tv channels any more. I decided to take a chance and purchase this antenna. Wish I had done it sooner! This antenna is small and sleek. The picture is crystal clear and we still get all of the same channels we did with basic cable (NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, FOX, etc.). I did move it around a few times to obtain all of the channels, the closer to the window the better (as the manual says). I ended up putting it in the windowsill to get the best results.

The antenna works! I live in a rural area but the antenna picked up 40 or so stations. It is very easy to setup and has a very low profile. Be aware that your TV needs a digital tuner built-in, which every new TV should have. Otherwise, you have to buy a digital tuner box.

This antenna is great. I had another name brand that wouldn't pull in channels after the local stations changed the digital signals (even after re-scanning) and that is why I bought this one. I pulled in 42 channels and I live about 30 miles outside of Birmingham. Some days the signal isn't that great (I assume because of weather or something), but most days it's crystal clear and looks just like cable. I got rid of my cable service because I was tired of paying equipment fees. I now have this antenna and Hulu live with premium movie channels. I pay less than half of what I used to pay. I get local channels with the Hulu service but I don't get all of the local channels that I get with this antenna...like PBS and sub channels of the main networks. If you want a good antenna without paying a lot, this is it!

This is a decent little antenna. The range is supposed to be fifty miles. I live right in the city and it picks up 70 channels. I haven’t used many channels but i do lose signal from time to time on the channels I do use. I have tried moving it around but regardless of weather it’s not perfect. I’m not well versed in the antenna world so maybe this stuff is normal but when it works it works very well. I’m happy with my purchase. I had an issue in shipping and Best Buy made it right so beyond the product itself the service was great.
