Customers are saying

Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

    Antenna Review

I wanted to do away with the high price of satellite/cable. I also wanted something that was inside and fairly easy to deal with. This worked really great it was easy to set up and I scanned over 50 digital channels. Well worth the purchase, Plus it really doesn't look like an antenna - so sitting up with the rest of my stuff on that TV area it really blends in.

I live in a lowline area approx. 35 miles from the Madison and I am able to pick up all the local stations and others totaling up to 47 stations in all. well worth the purchase. I have tried other indoor amplified antennas and nothing else in my opinion compares for the cost.

Nice quality and doesn’t take much space at all as it’s literally “paper” thin. Price is good for this product and channels come in without any issues.

Better than 1st gen Digital antenna

Had a 1st gen amplified antenna that gave more blue screen than programs over time and it took about a square foot of space behind the TV. This Newer antenna is hanging up and away from the TV with the mere thickness of the wire now behind the TV. Reception is better more channels more of the time...although not the perfection that over the air analog used to provide.

Excellent antenna and reception. Every channel in my area comes in loud and clear. One side of it is White and the other black, so you can choose which side to face outward. The installation was very simple. Comes with a long cable but I only needed to put it up just below the ceiling line to get excellent reception. Very glad I chose this rather than a more expensive one.

HD Antenna - Good Value for the money

We bought this antenna because we could not get cable installed due to covid restrictions. The antenna pulled in about 41 channels but we only received 35. One of the local stations less than 5 miles from us had a bad in/out signal but all others worked well. We could pull in 3 different PBS stations. Good value for the money. We had it on the window ledge and now attached to the wall behind the tv. Even in this location we can pick up over 20 channels.

I am actually very happy with this indoor antenna from Best Buy. I was a little hesitant when I saw this item on sale for less than $20, when the comparable antenna from other brands goes for nearly $60. However I figured that I can try it and immediately know whether or not it works and return it if it doesn’t. To my surprise this antenna performs great. I can pick up close to 30 channels and they all come in consistently good. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

We had a similar antenna that started losing signals. With this one we initially did not get one station about 30 miles away, but as a workaround added two pieces of aluminum foil to the two top corners on this antenna with the small sticky circles that came with it. We have had the station ever since and it is working great. I would not expect the 50 mile range it says, we are on a small hill and had trouble getting that station on the other side of the city, but it is working far better than our prior antenna.

Bought this antenna at a closeout price and was hoping that it would do a better job of bringing more over the air channels than my previous antenna. Was pleasantly surprised that it performed better than I expected. Was able to get an additional 25 channels that previously I couldn't get with my old antenna and getting it for 75% off was the icing on the cake. It's small size hides the fact that it pulls in all the channels available in my area.Highly reccomend this antenna

This is an excellent attenna for getting the local channels. It is small and unobtrusive. I chose to use the stand and have it near a window. Easy to set up. The only difficulty was the coaxial cable but that was due to the placement of the coupler on my tv. Anyway, I am almost 70 so anyone can do it. With this and the purchase of a streaming device I am perfectly happy. I am saving so much money and had to give up very little. I've had cable for a long time. Don't miss it at all.

Works well. I get about 40 channels. What you get depends on where you are and how you mount it. Also, I’m not entirely sure the amplifier does anything because I live fairly close to a major metro. I mostly use streaming apps, but this is nice for sports and live events on major channels

Got beautiful reception on all but one the network stations in my area, and I'm 5 minutes from downtown Orlando. Easy to use, lightweight, unobtrusive. Attached it to a window and voila! Wish it got them all, and wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Just can't give it 5 cause of missing that 1 key station.

I moved in to a new apartment and I was really looking to avoid adding another monthly bill with cable. I purchased this after reading the reviews and I am really impressed with this antenna! It found over 30 channels. Originally I had it on the stand sitting on my window and it worked ok but what a difference it makes mounted higher up on my window now. Highly recommend this to anyone wishing to get rid of cable bills!!

I purchased this as a replacement for a much bulkier outdoor antenna I was using indoors. The signal pickup is even better than the outdoor antenna. This antenna offers minimal bulk and great placement flexibility. I did find it works better when placed up high after I realized I was getting signal interference when the antenna was at body level and I was walking around the room. Also, it was on sale and a great price.

Wanted to discontinue my expensive cable TV service and needed a good, strong HDTV antenna as an integral part of that change. Enter the Insignia Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna. Installation and setup were a snap and I was quickly able to zero in on over 50 channels! Reception is strong and clear on virtually every channel. I couldn't be happier! Thank you Best Buy.
