Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

Thin antenna, well made, easy to hide behind tv. Reception is just ok, picks up most channels for stations within 30 miles or so, but for some ready won't get ABC despite it being close.

I've struggled with finding an antenna that will pick up all of the stations in my area. I've tried three different antennas that all claimed to have very long range pickup but none have worked as well as this one. I'm pretty happy with it since it's not even the most expensive I've tried. Your mileage may vary but I'd certainly give it a try if you have trouble picking up local stations.

Needed an antenna to go with a tv we purchased for a spare room. This antenna was the one we chose.
It is located in the window of an upstairs room. With this antenna we are able to bring in numerous channels in our are, some that we don't get on other tvs.
The size is right and it does not get in the way. This is a great antenna for the price.

I can watch television

I mean, I can watch television. I don’t know, whether it is the device or just the way my house is situated. My sons room gets twice as many channels as every other room in our house.
The antennas were fairly easy to setup. If you are looking for something with no frills, as a backup, like I was, I would say go for it. But I don’t know that I would recommend this as your primary television source.
The picture is pretty clear, most of the time. It can go in and out while watching. Like I said. I wouldn’t depend on this as your primary television source. But in a pinch, if you just need something, it does work.

Pulls in the channels I expected reasonably well.

It took a while after installation for the TV to pull in the channels I expected, which may be an issue with the TV more than the antenna. The reception was of the quality I expected. The strong channels displayed very well on my 720p TV. I got no channels until I plugged in the amplifier. So it would seem amplification is a must even though I live relatively close (11 miles) to the broadcast towers. No complaints on this item. If you are thinking of cutting the cable, this is a good way of testing whether you want to go through with it.

Reception is good considering my location. Works just as good as other antennas I’ve tried, but was less expensive, even more so if on sale. Easy to check signal strength with its long cable. Easy to mount as well.

it took some time to understand all the instructions. and it also took a few tries to get the antenna in the right place to get good reception - best near a window!
now i get my main networks, CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC for $25 total instead of $60/ month!

Had debated trying an antenna for years but thought reception would be poor given proximity of power lines. Bought this when storms knocked out cable and WOW! Hard to imagine being more impressed with what it can pick up and how easy it is to use.
Look out cable company...your days are numbered.

Installation was easy. I mounted on a wall with 2 small removeable wall hangers. It took a two to three minutes to find the best spot for placement. I was surprised with the clarity, as I had used a more expensive antenna for the living room and just wanted an antenna for my bedroom. The reception is better than the name brand! I would definitely recommend!

Great product. I’ve never used a digital antenna before. I followed the directions and also placed it up as high as possible near a window. We get about 50 usable channels with a great picture. All the local channels, which was our goal. Plus many more. We have one app we pay for and NO CABLE.

Works beautifully. Easy to hook up. The white side blends perfectly with the cabinet wall. What was most surprising was how many channels i could get and the quality for the higher HD ones was as good or better looking than when i received them from the cable company. And, no reoccurring monthly service fees to use it.

I've owned an RCA Rabbit ears for too long, so I needed to upgrade from the rabbit ears to another Indoor Antenna especially since I've had a New Samsung 4K TV. Originally I purchased the TERK Antenna, which didn't work at all. Went back to BestBuy & purchased the Insignia Ultra-Thin Indoor Plate HDTV Antenna - Black/White. I like the fact that it looks better, it's as close as I can getting near the window, I do pick up the Air Channels, but too bad I have to put up with channels I don't really care for. The Antenna is very nice & light, I prefer to use the black side which blends in better than the white, so far so good. I’m happy.

It works good. The only thing is that if u have low place to put it, it wont register too many channels. In other words, the higher u place it the better. And sometimes u cant put it higher. Still, it works

I purchased this for my dad who lives in the suburb. Every time I went to visit he would never get a clear channel using the antenna he had. I purchased this online after reading the reviews. Instillation was very easy and now he get all the local channels in HD plus many more. He is very happy and dose not have to pay a huge cable bill.

I had an old Insignia Flat Antenna that wouldn't work on the TV on my basement, This one is the next model up and was on sale with a great discount :)
Works well, and picked up more channels than the old one. The paper thin design makes it very easy when moving the antenna; only thing is I would prefer a longer cable.
