Customers are saying

Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

    Good Antenna but Not Great

I ordered this antenna because I was excited that it should have had better coverage available but it gave the same channels that my other unit gave, which was supposed to just be a 30 mile antenna. I ended up returning it because I purchased a much better antenna which took me from 50 channels to more than 99 channels and was just $5 more than this one. One of the things that I liked about it though was the fact that you could flip it to whichever side most closely aligned with your wall so it wasn't a great distraction.

Great value. Certain channels fade in & out occasionally. For some reason reception is better during morning hours. If you live in city center, this is all you need. Small & not obtrusive.

    Untether from Cable

Bought this because we were tired of paying the local cable fees. This picks up the signal from local stations, and we really have more channels then we had with our super low cable package. Works great with our first floor tv. It has to be located by the window in our basement setup, nut so far no issues with reception.

Great product at a reasonable price. I purchased a cheaper Amazon Basics indoor antenna originally but was frustrated at the inconsistency in signal quality. This antenna produces a smooth, consistent picture and reaches all the local channels in my area.

The Insignia™ - Amplified Thin Film HDTV Antenna - Black/White is a great antenna. It provides good reception for all my local stations. It was very easy to install & of course obtained the best price @ Best Buy.

Price/value you can’t beat this antenna. So easy to install and in a few minutes 69 channels with clear reception. Also like that it comes with a stand, so you don’t have to place on window or wall. Black or white side and very thin. I had purchased a much more expensive model but this one was had nothing to envy.

Easy to use, pulled in 45 channels metro New York area. Temporary replacement for cable TV. The black and white sides give a nice option to coordinate colors.

Works great for watching some football which was the sole reason I purchased this item. Very easy to set up and the antenna itself is very slim and light. The picture quality is very good; zero problems there. The fact that I got it on clearance was a huge plus.

Good quality Antena , I’m getting over 80 channels. To get ABC make sure the antenna is placed on a window. My only complaint is the wire , it can a be longer .

This is the second one we purchased because the first one worked so well. This one was for the tv in another room. Brought in several channels more clearly. Live in the country so we needed something to be able to watch regular channels. Got rid of cable! Decided to use smart tv and antenna. Huge savings!

After I cancelled my Verizon Fios I was looking for an air antenna for the second floor of my house. This antenna was easy to set up. I feel it has good reception and nice picture quality.

We cut the cord about a year ago. Didn't think that this would work very well but that couldn't be further from the truth. Setup was quick and easy. Scanned the channels and had no idea how many free channels were out there. Picture is crystal clear and pure HDTV.

Very easy to use. Plugged it up and set it in the window and was surprised at how many channels it actually picked up. We finally cut the cord on cable and the picture quality of the major networks actually looked better on this than what we were getting on cable.

This antenna allowed me to get better reception and more over the air channels. There are several channels that are not really solid but that may be due to the Tv itself.

With the move from a cable provider to down streaming programs on television we were in need of an antenna to be able to watch local tv. Not only were we able to pick up local stations, we were able to pick up more than 30 other stations. Great pirchase, takes up little space.

Great product! I needed an antenna to get my local channels that my streaming service didn't provide and this works like a charm. Picture is clear and looks great. Be careful where you put it though. The signal can be blocked if someone is standing or sitting in front of it.

I was using a HD antenna that had a set of rabbit ears and a powered amplifier with a gain control. It had limitations as one would expect. This unit gets better reception than my older unit but it still has some limits. 1) MUST be plugged in to get any signal; 2) must be rotated in different orientations to get several stations. The latter renders the "feature" of mounting it to a wall or the back of the TV useless. Once mounted, that's your orientation and that is your station list. Overall, it has a much smaller footprint than my old rabbit ears. That alone gives it a positive grade.

Works fine for the price. I was able to get about 50 different channels with a scan. If you plan to use often would probably recommend spending more.

This antenna was extremely easy to install. I can now get channels that I couldn't get with FIOS. I have it sitting behind my TV so the reception is great, and the picture is clear. I bought two as I prepare to get rid of cable/FIOS. Everything is exactly as described on the website and on the box.
