Customers are saying
Customers admire the Amplified Thin Film Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a large number of channels and its simple installation. While some users experienced weaker signals depending on their location and building materials, the antenna's compact size and affordability were frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of setup outweighs the concerns about signal strength in certain situations.

Great signal but, Location, Location, Location!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mounted an "extra" TV in our bedroom--first time we've had a TV in the whole time we've been married (almost 30 years). Don't watch it enough to put cable in there, but figured streaming services would be enough. Had to use rewards certificates, so thought I'd "splurge" on this antenna. Picked up a few dozen stations during first set up, but many of them were pixelated and unwatchable. After reading up a bit, moved it higher and further from the TV. Now, all the stations come in clearly. Not all are HD, but they are stations I'm not interested in anyway. So, experiment with a few locations for best results.

Great bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic quality for the price. More channels than expected and just about the same quality as a direct land line formerly had (picture quality is just as good however have yet to find the best spot for product so occasionally have some fuzz and clears right up)

Insignia HDTV Antenna Provides 41 Channels
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia HDTV Antenna was purchased to provide better reception and increase the available digital air network channels. After installing the antenna, I went from 12 weak reception channels to 41 strong high resolution channels in the Cincinnati area.

It works
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom line - it works. It's just a cheezy piece of vinyl pasted with double-faced dots to my window, but it works. I had a similar one 5 years ago (though not amplified) before I went to Direct TV. Now that I'm cutting the cord, I'm back to an antenna. Works fine for local major channels, although I have a few others that are borderline (MeTV, etc). I guess what really gets me is I bought this on Dec 9, and the price has dropped twice since by Christmas! My bad. By the way, one side is white, and one is black, to blend into your decor I guess.

Insignia Antenna
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and I get so many channels. I put it next to my treadmill and did not want to get a cable connection. This helps me get local and many other stations, and keeps me occupied as I am on the treadmill. I was surprised I got so many channels!

Insignia TV Antenna
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Antenna works very well. My problem is I am too far away from the signal source. The one or two channels that I do get come in clear and strong. I recommend this and if you are close to the signal it should work fine for you.

Great reception
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live on a second floor apartment with block walls. I tried using the included stand and hiding it behind my tv but the picture was not clear. I moved it to the top of a large window against the glass. It is only a few inches below my ceiling and it works great in this location. I cancelled cable service but did not pay extra at the time for the HD box with cable. My picture for my main local networks (ABC, NBC, FOX, CW) are all crystal clear and actually seem to be higher quality than what I received with my Comcast non HD service.

Good Indoor Antenna
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked well, but not well enough for our purposes. We live in the East Bay, SF Bay Area, and have had an old roof top antenna for well over 40 years that my Father installed. This old antenna works Excellent and gets a great signal and very many tv channels well over 100. This New Indoor Insignia tv antenna worked well got over 100 tv channels as well, but the problem is that some days certain channels don't come in clear and are scrambled. So well keep our old 40 year old Excellent Roof top antenna and return this Insignia antenna to Best Buy.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried the other expensive brands claiming more distance and was thoroughly disappointed. This model has out performed those at a much cheaper price point. My unit faces east towards the antenna tower but is blocked by 45ft tree and still gets quality reception.

Best antenna I've had
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a couple of antennas, they did not work as well as this one. The channels are so clear. I always got a bad signal message on several channels with previous brands. I've only gotten it once with this antenna and the picture was still clear.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we cut the cable and decided to give this antenna a try. Superb and easy to use antenna. I didn't hold high hopes for this antenna, but wow did it deliver! Easy to setup, brings in a terrific signal once it is positioned. A real solid bargain.

Very Good Overall Value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an excellent value. Good quality and a fair price. It pulled in over 40 channels , including UHF , in high definition resolution. Very easy to set up and the optional stand gives more placement options.

Works better than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works surprisingly well, actually better than I thought it would. It's not really a replacement for cable, but I am surprised how many channels are available over the air. I bought it for one local channel that they took off my cable and it works well for that. You do have to remember it is extremely sensitive to direction, and for best results it should be in a window pointing in the direction of the stations you want. It will work sitting behind your tv but the results won't be as good as if you have it positioned correctly. Reception also varies with time of day or atmospheric conditions. If you don't have cable, this is worth trying to get you your major local network stations.

Excellent Signal strength - Indoor over air antenn
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Insignia indoor antennae because our provider, Dish Network dropped the Denver NBC affiliate. NBC is our most watched channel for sports and news. I was grasping at straws to figure out a way to retrieve the channel. I bought the Insignia antennae in hope to have access to the channel with the hope we could get the signal off of the air. It was easy to hook up to our Samsung TV. I placed the antennae next to a window facing Denver 50 miles away in hopes of at least getting a weak signal. I was amazed the signal came in crystal clear and maybe even brighter and sharper than off our satellite signal. WOW! I had tried indoor antennae in the past but never had any acceptable success. This is amazing! Good job Insignia! Thanks!

Good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Happy with the picture quality, reception, and ease of installation. Great value. I bought a second unit for the TV in my shop. I have not had them for long, but there's not much that can fail in this unit so I expect it to last a long time.

Excellent antenna
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very glad that this antenna connects with 19 channels. Crisp, clear picture. Convenient placement - much prefer putting on a stand rather than having to stick it to the wall but understand that some people would prefer the latter.

They have never had cable but wanted a new antenna for a second TV. Switched this with the one they had been using and it added an additional 20+ channels. Easy to connect and works great.
